I have stayed at the Ilikai several times. This unit was very similar to others. The view faces the marina and Magic Island. This direction is quieter than the lagoon side, which is why I chose it. The property manager was very responsive and communication was good. The building, and all units I've stayed in, suffer a bit from wear and tear, but structurally the building is sound. The location is one of the best features of the property.
Ilikai is perfect! A lovely hotel/condo close to everything. Easy to access turo cars, shopping, beaches, malls, and night life. Our roomHad a lovely view of the harbor, sunsets, and music at the restaurant below. Everything you need is within the unit. My only suggestion is a soap tray for the bathroom sink. A great location between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu, with easy access to all that both have to offer in terms of restaurants, bars, breweries, beaches and shops.
The apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped and comfortable for a couple of chilled out evenings after busy days in the sun.
All in all, a great place to stay and we'd definitely stay here again.

My husband and I live the Ilikai. And renting from Ali’i is great. This condo has wonderful sunset views of the harbor and gets the late afternoon/evening sun. Love the rainfall shower head option in the bathroom. My only suggestion is that a new knife set may be needed all the knives in the block are starting to rust.

Pros: good communication with property management company. Good view. Clean and updated.Cons: queen mattress on king bed frame. Sparse dishes for cooking including no cookie sheets or pans to use in oven. Couch was not a couch - but better as a fold out bed. No back to it, uncomfortable and run down. There is no coffee table or end tables and one must put their wine glass on the laminate floor. Terrible! Lanai furniture also run down, stained and tired.Opinion: my 4th time renting at Ilikai and first time from property management company. Difference seemed evident. Not personable and the smallest investments in a bit of furniture and kitchen supplies could have made a huge difference. I won’t rent this unit again.

This condo is clearly older and it seems the owners must never use this condo except for rental use only. Just like most older buildings near the ocean everything that can corrode does. It was comfortable but I won’t be Stonehenge again. If you want any privacy I do not recommend this place at all as there are many possible on lookers because of the way this unit is situated. Does have good views of the marina and ocean along with hundreds of lanais/decks. And I am not impressed at all with the Alii Rentals the management company which manages this unit. Not at all flexible on any requests and handling situations in their control or out of their control. Not at all pro active. I will never rent from them again. I rented this unit via VRBO then was introduced to Alii Rental during the payment period. Just my input.
Located near the tourist hub of Honolulu. Walkable to many things, nice beach. Lovely patio with big doors to a good view that open up the whole interior. The space is 95% spotless and effortless to access. Brand new kitchen and bathroom. Mattress was ok, pullout was also good enough for one. Pillows were not great. Ample towels for beach etc.
I loved our Condo. Plenty of space, clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was an easy walk but a little further then I would have liked. Was not impressed with the pool. One of the two dining options was closed as the property was having some sort of electrical problems. It opened in our last day with a limited menu. Overall it was a great stay and I felt right at home.

We loved our Condo. Has a great view and easy walk to the beach. Everything in the Condo was just as described. It was also very quiet and night for good sleeping.
We have stayed at the Ilikai several times and this room was probably our favorite so far! So hard to make a decision from photos and even reviews. But we picked a good one and would stay here again for sure. Everything was clean(really important!), well maintained, up to date. Perfect view of the sunset. AC worked well. Shower pressure was excellent. There was an issue w/the drainage but it was resolved quicker than I had expected! Great communication. Close to elevators, laundry, trash room. There is even a hair dryer, extra towels, beach chair. I have paid more for less which is always a disappointment. Thank you for the excellent service!
