We have stayed at the Ilikai numerous times and one of the priorities is to get an ocean view and this property fits the bill. It has an expansive view and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy.
Pros
- TVs in every room for those who need variety.
- Bathrooms were clean
- Lots of closet space and hangers
- Sofa and armchairs were comfortable
- Master king bed was very comfortable
Cons
- The floor did not seem to be cleaned prior to moving in. The bottom of our socks were dirty after walking around.
- The A/C units were very noisy.
- Chairs around round table were very uncomfortable.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.

This property is in a very beautiful location, but that's the only good thing about it. The description and pictures listed for this unit are very deceiving compared to the actual unit as it is today! We were extremely upset and disappointed with the outdated/poor condition of the Condo. It smelled musty & dusty with visible dust under beds, on lamps/lightbulbs, slats on bathroom pocket door which affected our allergies in a big way! Bathtub/shower had soap scum and visible rust spots, chipped floor tiles/paint in multiple areas. It's very obvious, there is NO pride in ownership for this unit. Would NOT recommend renting this Condo for your vacation, until it has been gutted and redone from top to bottom. Many better updated Condos to choose from in our humble opinion.

The host was so nice and accommodating. The view? Amazing!! The location? Even better! I love love love this place. This was my second time in Hawaii over the past two years and I will definitely be back to stay here. I personally loved the island decor, not sure why that’s an issue for some. The place is clean, spacious, and has the most beautiful view.

This place was in a great location and had a wonderful view. It slept 5 nicely. Pull out bed could use a new mattress. It also was wonderful to have a washer dryer in the unit. I was a little disappointed that there were not beach towels available for use. We had to go buy some which wasn't a cheap purchase. Also no beach chairs or equipment of any kind to use. We loved the view of the beautiful sunsets and the shops and food avaialable in bottom of hotel were nice. The lagoon was a wonderful plus and is great for families with small children.

I had picked this place for our family based on the views, we were not disappointed - relaxing on the balcony watching the sun go down was just perfect. The condo is on the 18 floor, elevators were no issue and parking behind the place in the marina lot was really convenient. We loved the coffee place and quick access to the beach and lagoon - thank you for giving us a place to 'refresh' ourselves.

We just returned from an eight night stay at this condo. It’s on the end cap of the hotel that faces the ocean and lagoon and offers AMAZING views! We picked the condo exclusively because of the views and enjoyed using both patios each day. As others have commented, the condo is a bit dated in terms of furnishings, but it more than our requirements for a clean, comfortable place to stay with amazing views! Also, many of the condos at the Illikai don’t have their own washer and dryer in the unit. You have to use the laundry facilities on each floor of the hotel. However this condonhas a washer and dryer in the unit! The Illikai Hotel is centrally located and we were able to get to all parts of the island within 15-45 minutes for day trips. Overall, we had a great time on our family vacation in Oahu. We could have picked a fancier condo for significantly more $, but no other condos at the Illikai offer better views compared to this condo!
