Discover the hidden gem that is Casa de Emdeko! We warmly invite you to stay in our peaceful and stylish home-away-from-home. We lovingly remodeled the entire unit using modern design principles with a touch of tropical style.
The modern aesthetic and original art make this unit truly one of a kind. The kitchen is equipped with marble countertops and all the amenities. Bathroom with a glass enclosure and artisan-tiled shower with luxury fixtures. Bedroom features a California king bed, soft lighting, and large TV. Livingroom has large windows that look out onto the garden, 55” TV, and relaxed seating. A/C and wifi throughout.
The covered lanai is a comfortable and private place to sit and watch the sunrise over Hualalai and listen to the birds. There is comfortable seating for dining or relaxing. ). The oceanfront saltwater pool is truly magical, and you can often watch humpback whales breaching while you take a dip. There is also a freshwater pool steps from the door, as well as community BBQ grills and cabana.
One of our favorite things about Casa is its convenience. 4 miles north are the restaurants and coffee shops of Old Kailua town, and only 2 miles to the South are Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu'u Beach Park, with swimming, bodyboarding, sunbathing, snorkeling, and sea turtles. Head a little further south and you are in the middle of the Kona coffee belt and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world.
*Please note that this complex has frequent temporary water shut offs. There will be no compensation for water shut offs.
*The OCEAN POOL will be temporarily closed April 28th- May 9th for sand mitigation.
*Complex AC will be shut down from 9:00 AM on Monday, June 9th estimated to be back on by 5:00 PM on Friday, June 13th.
Minimum night varies seasonally 4 -10 nights.

We would recommend this property to friends and family. Air conditioning worked excellent throughout every room. And when we returned after a day out of the condo, it stayed cool even though we turned air off. Bed super firm and comfortable, just watch out for bed frame corners. We hit them a few times and it hurts. Condo was really clean. Towels were nice and soft. Liked the soaps and toiletries! Lots of ice and ice packs. Bring your own small ice chest- there was only a large one. I did buy a beach umbrella and left it in the bedroom closet. Glad there were beach chairs! Furniture just ok. Couch not very comfy. Pool was steps away and 2nd pool near ocean was a short walk. Loved seeing the sunset from the pool area. Day parking inside the gate was plentiful but evening parking you do have to park outside the gated complex but there was always plenty of parking so not a big deal. Many books and games inside condo and some books outside condo to borrow if you need. Everything in the condo worked great and easy to use. Super happy with this lovely condo!

Somewhat old but well maintained. Never saw or communicated with that person. Smaller of two pools needs maintenance on bottom in shallow end. Looks to be peeling off.

This condo was nice and very quiet for sleeping at night. Very convenient for restaurants and groceries. The air conditioning was throughout the condo, not just one unit which kept it cool. I would recommend this unit for a couple.

On the water! Pretty close to strip of restaurants and shops. Very clean and has a well appointed kitchen. Slight musty smell due to the age of the property but overall a very comfortable stay. Parking was easy even if we had to park outside the gates. We purchased a Target comforter though since there was only a sheet and light cotton bedcover on the bed.

Beautiful location, saltwater pool right beside ocean- ahhhh.
Nicely updated suite with nice touches throughout. The little thoughtful extras were much appreciated! Grounds are well maintained and the location was nice and quiet. Would return to this place again!

I love this complex. My husband and I have stayed in two different units here. By far, this was the loveliest - easy access to the pool, comfortable lounge furniture, roomy bathroom - with a double sink!
My only challenge here was the lack of oil, salt, pepper, etc, any type of essentials for the kitchen! Yes -including the coffee filters. :/ This has never happened to us. I love to cook so this was a major challenge for us. Besides that, we loved the place.

The condo was clean and nicely equipped. We were not aware that the bedroom faced the elevator and therefore could not open the window. The main room and kitchen faced the garden and lanai. The washer/dryer in the unit did not work, so we were lucky to use the laundry room in the complex. The complex itself is lovely, with two pools and gorgeous landscaping.

The apartment is fantastic: beautifully designed and decorated, it is perfect for your vacation on Big Island. Kona is just a few minutes away by car, otherwise you can take the trolley or even walk to town.
I wish we could have stayed longer.
