We had the best holiday staying at Al and Suzanne's condo. The check-in was seamless with very clear instructions. The condo was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were so close to the beach and had easy access to the 3 swimming pools. Also walking distance to the shops was a plus! Al and Suzanne were lovely hosts with great communication. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing view and location.
We went with 15 other people to celebrate my husband's birthday and had an amazing time! Al and Suzanne were very prompt answering any of my questions. Their condo was clean, beautiful and had an amazing view of the ocean from the patio. They really thought of all of the extras to make our stay comfortable. There were 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, three boogie boards, some pool noodles, beach toys, a soft cooler, and a wagon to transport groceries from the car to the room. We honestly could not have asked for anything better! Our flight arrived at 10:00 a.m. and we had asked if it was possible to get an early check-in. We got a welcome text message the day of arrival letting us know that we would be able to access the condo at 12:00 which was perfect timing for our arrival to the resort. We literally dropped our luggage and were in vacation mode immediately!We truly look forward to returning to this piece of paradise and will stay here again!

This 2 bedroom is big enough for a family to stay. We loved it. Staff is so friendly. We want to come and stay again.
Very clean and great location
Our family of four recently came back from our stay at this property, and we loved it. The owner/property managers were extremely responsive and accommodating. They immediately responded to questions, and they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was so nice to work with them instead of a property management company.
The condo was very clean, well taken care of, and completely stocked. The condo’s location was great too. Beautiful partial ocean view from the family room/lanai and short walk to the pool and Duke’s restaurant at the Honua Kai. We would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to coming back.
Everything from booking months ago to checking out was seamless. The Wilsons were extremely helpful and quick to respond; even checking in to make sure we got there and asked if we needed anything. The unit was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The photos are what you get but even better! This specific unit is located in such a perfect spot with regards to the pool, beach and elevator to the parking garage making our daily routines very easy.
This was our first VRBO experience and it literally could not have gone any smoother! Absolutely zero apprehension recommending this place to family and friends.

We just returned from an action-packed, bucket list vacation in beautiful Maui. We were very pleased with our accommodations at Al and Suzanne’s place in Honua Kai. The condo was as described and provided everything we needed for an ideal stay. Beds were extremely comfortable, the lanai provided gorgeous views and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us.
We were slightly disappointed that the king bed could not be separated as noted in the original listing, but we were made aware of this change prior to our travels. I was also a bit disappointed to learn that the Aina Gourmet Market had closed permanently… but the Whaler’s Market in the adjacent tower was open as a reasonably close alternative.
The grounds at the resort were beautiful and extremely well manicured. The beach was fantastic and it was soooo convenient to have it on site. We ate at Duke’s a few times and it was fantastic (I would definitely recommend making reservations on OpenTable in advance if you are planning on dining during dinner hours, otherwise expect a wait). The food truck park was extremely easy to access and provided many options for our varying palates.
If we were to return to Maui, I would 100% stay here again. Location was great. Communication was great and we were so appreciative to our hosts for a wonderful stay. Thank you!!!
The condo was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Al was extremely communicative and the process was very smooth and easy. Highly recommend for a family.
We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful unit. The property was big enough for our family of 6 to live comfortably, we had a full kitchen that we used for breakfast and lunches, a beautiful lanai, gorgeous view of both the mountains and the ocean, extra sheets and towels, a washer/dryer and basic cleaning and home supplies. Everything was spotless and of high quality materials. It was a high end resort experience without the high end resort prices. The property also has a restaurant on site, a convenience store with really good coffee, multiple pools, a lazy river and a water slide. Short walk to other restaurants and the food truck park The owners were wonderful and very quick to respond any time we needed something! We can’t wait to return!!
We had a great vacation! The property is in a perfect location and walkable to many different areas. The condo was very clean and check-in/out process is straightforward. Owner always available for questions. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful condo, well appointed and beautifully furnished with the most comfortable beds ever…. Excellent communication with owners. Honua Kai is absolutely lovely; we will visit again.
Property was absolutely better than described- the view from the lanai was gorgeous- sunsets included. Our Hosts were very easy to communicate with. The condo had all the comforts of home and more! Pool and beach were easily accessible and so beautiful! Duke’s restaurant was delicious and laid back! Grocery and local food within walking distance! Snorkeling right off the beach was even better than our trip to Molikini! Highly recommend this property for families of any age!
