This condo was awesome!The location was great and walkable to downtown Kona. The condo itself was right on the water and was great for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets.The condo had all the essentials including a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of beach supplies. (chairs, towels, coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards)All in all, a great experience!
We have stayed in several different units in the Kona Reef over the past few years. This unit was the cleanest unit we have ever checked into. The remodel that was done was very nice and the unit was decorated very nicely. All of the furniture was comfortable including the bed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing and serving our meals. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working and called the after hours number around 9:30 at night. The person who took the message was very helpful and said they would leave a message for the property manager. At 6:00 am I had a text from Tracy at Kona Beach asking when she could come over to measure the area to replace the refrigerator. By 2:30 that afternoon we had a new refrigerator. Things happen and appliances break but this was handled excellent. The only issue we really had was when we booked the unit we were not informed there was a remodel taking place in the unit next door. Consequently there was construction noise during the day. This is something that should have been noted on the rental site

Excellent property - true oceanfront watching surfing/whales. Toilet clogged on arrival but management group had a plumber out immediately- same with lost parking permit- DO recommend

We really enjoyed the condo! It was clean and organized. The appliances worked well. The sofa bed was comfortable. The bedding was organized in the plastic bins and vacuume suction bags which was helpful. There could have been a better hook or hanger for the living room "closet" area for the second guest sleeping in the living room. Other than that we really enjoyed it!
Wonderful property. Loved the sound of the waves crashing. Easy walk to all the restaurants in Kailua-Kona . Great atmosphere. Felt very secure in the property. Great amenities. Large TV, solid WiFi

The condo was perfect with an absolute stunning view. This is our second time in this condo and we loved it even more the second time. Highly recommend this condo and Kona Reef. The location cannot be beat, and the amenities are great!
Great place to stay. Oceanfront, we sat on the lanai listening to the waves and watching kids body surfing. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

We had a wonderful time and loved this place! Stunning ocean view from the private lanai, pictures don't do it justice! Great for sunsets too. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked with lots of amenities. Great location on Ali'l Drive with easy parking and close enough to walk to dinner and shopping in town. We will be back!
The condo itself was clean, well stocked and a perfect view from the balcony. The complex that the condo was located in was somewhat grungy though. Several condos seemed to be undergoing restoration repairs, such as the one next to our unit. Had more of an old apt building vibe than a tropical resort feel.
need to provide instructions for TV. Tracy was gracious enough to come by and help figure out the difference between streaming and Spectrum live tv. it involves two remotes.
An electric teapot / boiler would be helpful. I'm not sure the quick boil function on the stove works too well - it takes several minutes to boil water for a few cups of tea.
It would be fantastic if you provided a good size telescope for checking out the boats, rowers, surfers, stars and surrounding coastline. The binoculars are pretty useless for those activities.

I highly recommend this wonderful condo for a trip to Kona. Extremely well stocked, clean, and very easy check-in / check-out process. The view is amazing and we especially loved the sunsets. Very quiet and private. Took advantage of all of the great beach equipment- towels, chairs, umbrella, and snorkel equipment. Thank you for a lovely stay. We felt very welcomed by all of the attention to detail. We would love to come back!
1 bedroom condo w/ patio right on the ocean. Large patio storage chest full of beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen has all the cooking tools you want & others have left assorted condiments.
Beautiful condo with great views. Close to shopping and restaurants. You can walk or drive to both. Highly recommend!
We have stayed at Kona Reef previously and will return. The location is spectacular and the amenities fit our needs.

This unit has obviously gone through a stem to stern, top to bottom rehab with attention to fine detail and exquisite taste with respect to paints, colors and fabrics. Appliances and utensils and a new step in tile shower
with multiple adjustable shower heads also appear to be brand new. The glass slider to the lanai is new and appears to have a glare proof finish which makes for stunning views. While the unit is three floors above the ocean, access to it from the parking lot is actually one floor down making it very convenient particularly for someone with mobility concerns. The rental agents, Tracy and Tainya, are nearby and are really focused on their guests having a smooth visit.
