Wonderful condo on a private cove with some of the best snorkeling in the Lahaina area. Everything was clean, comfortable and nice. The upper loft gets a little warm at night with the small air conditioner in the two twin-bed room below. Sleep on top of the sheets and it’s fine. Other than that we loved our visit there and hope to return.

This is the third time we've been here and I always marvel at how great the cove is and how well positioned this property is on the cove. It's an intimate setting, not a huge development and Ray and the team do an amazing job keeping in tip-top shape. Everything is cared for every day. You don't find properties this well managed very often. Great location. The Individual units are all different and the ONE thing I would recommend is that units in the rental pool all have a similar level of appointments (Toasters, knives etc., ) in the unit so that you can count on it.

We absolutely loved Honokeana Cove, it's such a beautiful property, and even better views. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. I definitely see us coming back!
We loved staying at the cove. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise next door and the noise in general once it got to the weekend. You have to sleep with the windows open due to heat and it gets loud outside early. The TV upstairs is very small and if the one downstairs is on, you can’t use the one upstairs. The stairs are very steep but overall a great place! We hope to come back some day! The outside part is our favorite!

From the booking to the checkout communication was clear and efficient. This is not a resort and as long as you know this you’ll be very happy! The unit was clean and in beautiful shape. The view from the balcony was amazing. Whenever we ate in we ate dinner on the balcony with a sunset view over the ocean!

This is a relaxing community that supports kids, families and couples want to enjoy calmness. The BBQs are set at the best location for the view and provide all the BBQ supplies. Brought my family of 5 and was not disappointed one time. Great location to stores access to the roads.

A great experience. We reserved the same unit on the same week next year. There were more tropical fish than I had hoped for, and of course all of the turtles. The kitchen was well equipped.
The location of this condo is very specially located right on a quiet cove that hosts beautiful fish and lots of turtles who come rest up on the rocks! Easy snorkeling for me, a beginner! Get cold? Hop in the warm pool! Or lay on the many lounges on the grass. Just a beautiful place, with lots of friendly and loyal guests who return every year. Watched the whale action from the balcony, too! Beds were comfortable. Outfitted with kitchen and snorkeling gear!

Honokeana is definitely my happy place! When I arrive and go out on the lanai and take in the view, such a sense of calm and joy comes over me! We stayed in a different unit this year and there were a few things missing. The kitchen didn't have a good serving bowl or wine opener. We did appreciate the tupperware, but there were no measuring cups (one large mixing bowl with amounts on the side) and the knives were pretty dull. A workman came to try to fix the ceiling light/fan in the master bedroom, but was unsuccessful. One of the cabinets was missing its knob. All these were little things, but I do hope they were just small oversights, not a change in management efficiency. But I wouldn't trade the view with any of the high-dollar resorts on the island! The whales and turtles, the proximity to good beaches and great dining and the beautifully kept pool and grounds make Honokeana the place I want to return to year after year.

Beautiful Ocean bay location. All units have a wonderful Ocean view. Onsite manager and gardener take great care of the complex. Our unit was clean and a great fit for our family:) We were a family of four Adults. We all had a wonderful time. Perfect location and feel for us:). Only things I would want next renters to know in advance is that this unit had a small TV that is not a smart TV. The other would be that the complex has a fence around it but there is not one around the pool. We were very happy there was not one around the pool it would have taken away from the view and old Hawaiian carefree feel but anyone staying with young children take note you can walk straight from your bottom unit into the pool etc. Again we were very happy it was not fenced and believe parents need to be responsible for watching their children 24/7 it’s just a heads up to parents of little ones.
