We;ve come to Honokeana many times. It is always the most relaxing week of the year. Each unit has a super view of the common areas with the cove in the bakdgraound. Just sitting and looking is satisfying. One needs to go to no other place if they desire to snorkel. Paid trips do not compare to what is available at the cove. Truly a place where you can separate from the world for just a short time..

Everything you need has been provided for a relaxing vacation. The view from the balcony was priceless. Cool breezes in the evening made it easy to sleep listening to the ocean waves break. Small community feel with direct access to Honokeana Cove. Saw many turtles basking on the rocky shore and was able to swim with them. Saw whales every day from the balcony. Only issue was that access to the cove for snorkling is difficult due to the rocky shore and slippery rocks. Other than that, this place was ideal.

My husband & I came for a 10 day visit for our 40th anniversary. It was wonderfully relaxing and picturesque! The snorkeling was amazing and we had fun at the Pupu Party! This was our 2nd time and hope to go back next year!

We had 4 units, and #114 was definitely the nicest one, the owners sent us a postcard before we arrived, and also left us a $50 gift certificate to the local store, little things that they don’t have to do, but their pride in ownership really shows. They had beach chairs, snorkel equipment etc... again the little things that all add up to a great trip. The condo itself was in great shape. A wonderful place to enjoy the Cove!!! Cari in front office was great and Ray the property manager was on point. Grounds were immaculate. Can’t wait to return.

Carrie, our manager, did on outstanding job of seeing to it that our vacation experience was excellent. She is very familiar with activities and restaurants in the area and recommended Merrymans for out 60th anniversary evening. In addition, she helped us coordinate with Gammie Home Care to have an oxygen concentrator delivered to us. Carrie always made us feel she was happy to help and we can't thank her enough.

Our unit was gorgeous and so well equipped! Not only could we walk right out to the lawn, then a few more steps to the ocean to snorkel with turtles or use the pool, we were able to enjoy the sun setting right from our lanai in April! This condo was the most well equipped unit we have ever rented, having everything you would ever want. Even the knives were sharp! We truly appreciate the care the owners put into their unit and their excellent communication! There was snorkel gear available for use, great maps and info about Maui, beach chairs and an ice chest. Plus, two air conditioners if the weather is hot. You will not be disappointed if you book 114. Honokeana Cove is the best place to rent if you like to snorkel. Easy access to the cove, which has MANY resident sea turtles and clear water with lots of different fish. The swimming pool is heated, so when you get out of the ocean water, you can dip into the pool and it is like having a hot tub! Although there is public access to the cove, it would be too tough for less agile people to get in and out. We are 75 and had zero problems with ocean access while staying at Honokeana Cove.

This 2023 trip to Condo #114 was the makeup trip for an identical one we had to cancel in June, 2022, due to Cindy breaking a leg just 4 days before the 2022 trip was to begin.Honokeana office staff were great at transferring our payments from 2022 to the new 2023 reservation. Everything having to do with the office side of the reservation went smoothly, and we were kept informed of gate codes, etc.Condo #114 isa very well-appointed condo, and had a number of amenities provided by the owners we have not seen in other Honokeana units (we have stayed in three other Honokeana condos).We also very much appreciate the attention given to keeping the grounds, BBQ, pool and general facilities in good order.
