The property was clean and conveniently located. It was comfortable for us to stay in and convenient to Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, and Mauna Kea. All things we saw during our stay. A quick 5 min drive (or less) to anywhere in Hilo town. Great place to stay.
It was really nice to stay in this location. The place was clean and quite with beautiful view of the park and ocean . It was centrally located with short walkable distance to the beach and downtown market. We wanted to thank Amber to come and assisted us with the electronics. We will definitely consider staying here next time we are in Hilo.
We stayed 6 nights and were blessed with lots of sunshine!The unit is on the 9th floor with views of the park and water..absolutely beautiful. The condo had everything we needed and more: beach chairs, beach towels and a collasible cooler. The property is located in an old hotel that has been converted to condos and office space. Many of the tenants seem to be businesses but that did not bother us one bit. The unit was quiet..especially at night! Being an old hotel, the property needs some TLC..not so much this unit, but on whole it is pretty dated. The building exterior was receiving a new coat of paint during our stay. The pool was dirty and looked a bit neglected. Though we initially had hoped to take a plunge we quickly found other things to do and weren't bothered by this.We would definently stay here again.
This 9th floor condo was great! Overlooking a state park lagoon and a good walk to coconut island 3.5 mile return. We didn’t use the pool but the kitchen was extremely well equipped with some essential condiments and even laundry detergent for the laundry across the hall. We would stay there again!
The view from the balcony was beautiful. The condo itself and the facility it was located in was clean but outdated. The swimming pool was closed which was disappointing since it was the reason I chose this particular condo. The area was walkable with restaurants and a coffee shop in walking distance.
Location was great, unit was very nice with great views from the 3 balconies. Would stay again.
The view is amazing, watching the sunrise over the bay each morning was a highlight. Location is very good with 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown Hilo. My review is based upon my having three properties on VRBO and the other bnb site. The amenities were a bit hit and miss. Bedding and towels were great. Internet was strong and fast. Living room TV is 58” with Roku. Bedroom TVs were tiny with no streaming services available. Bathrooms were lacking and should have been remodeled when the flooring was done. Consideration should be given to soap and shampoo based upon guest stay. One ounce of shampoo and tiny bar of soap for a nine-day stay is not sufficient. The coffee maker was disgusting with black gunk in the water tank we could not clean out. Security is a concern because the passcode on the door lock is the same from guest to guest - this is poor practice for any rental property. Overall, I would stay at this property again.

It was a bit misleading. Yes nice view from inside. You drive up and we thought it was a nursing home. It was a medical complex with condos. Didn’t seem we could have possibly been where we were supposed to be. Once in it was nice. Beds comfortable. Well equipped

We were delighted with our stay at the Hilo Lagoon condo. The design of the 2bd, 2ba unit provided privacy for our family and was conveniently located in Hilo around stores, and restaurants.

The building itself was a bit rundown and the elevators need to be cleaned. The unit itself was good. Clean and had all the supplies you would expect. Adjustable bed in main bedroom was a plus. Enough towels without having to do them. Bummer that the laundry was a coin machine but it worked fine and was close to the unit. A/C worked great! Parking was under cover which is also a plus. Bummer about the pool not being available to relax at. Balcony view was wonderful and we hung out there. Location was good for driving but not to walk to anything really so lost a star for that. Pineapples Island Cuisine was the best meal we had must go! Did the zip lining tour from here and it was an easy 30 minute drive there. Volcano National park was an all day must see as well. Easy 45 minute drive from here. Lots of waterfalls to find as well. Good stay.
This is my third time staying at Hilo Lagoon in two years. Eash condo has been perfect. The views of Wailoa State Park is beautiful and relaxing. Love getting up early, just to watch the sunrise and listen to the birds. Each condo is clean and so quiet.
A very clean and comfortable property in and ideal location for exploring Hilo.
Extra points firnthe incredible lagoon park behind the property with a very charming population of endangered wild ducks.

The condo is in an excellent location and very convenient to all of Hilo's offerings! You could see the ocean from the patios, too! The unit was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking items (much appreciated!). The AC definitely works to keep the units cool, but most days opening the windows is enough. Easy access to the laundry facilities and people in the building were friendly. Would stay again!

This was a beautiful place to stay with 3 balconies from the 9th floor looking out at the lagoon. I so appreciated all the hooks to hang things on. There were even two hair dryers, one for each bathroom. It was such a pleasure to have my own room after the three of us sharing one room at hotels for over a week. Loved snuggling into the pillow pile on the bed. It seemed like Terry and Amber thought of everything.
Perfect place for me and my in-laws. Within mere minutes to my fam and friends in Hilo and KTA, Puainakou Shopping Center, Lilioukalani Park, really good restaurants, downtown, and access to highway to Volcano, Akaka Falls, etc.
The condo was well kept and was in a very nice location.
Great home base for exploring the Big Island! Our family (all adults) stayed here for 8 days and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect - approximately 0.7 mile walk into downtown Hilo for restaurants, farmer's market, and Paradise coffee. The apartment was as listed with everything we needed. Terry was a great communicator and was flexible in adding on a night for us when we wanted to extend our stay. The check-in and check-out processes were easy. Highly recommend!
