Claudia was very accommodating and kind. Her communication was timely and clear. We very much enjoyed our time in the studio.
The location was PERFECT for the things we wanted to do. Very quiet, peaceful. The cove area was beautiful. Communication was easy and very nice, understanding, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. Accommodations had everything you could want and more. Location was just steps from the water. Wish we had booked a longer stay. If we are ever back in Hilo, this will be the place we would choose to stay.
This was the perfect place for our stay on the east side of the island. The studio is very comfortable and centrally located to all excursions we had planned. The hosts have thought of everything one could need, from boogie boards with fins, beach chairs, small cooler, extra cooking oil etc., and all possible utensils. There are multiple seating areas in a lush garden environment steps away from a beautiful cove beach as advertised. AC (necessary), BBQ, cable TV with Netflix access, and laundry facilities are an added bonus.We would definitely stay here again!
This cute studio rental is on a dead-end road, surrounded by tropical vegetation and a short walk to the water. The rental was appointed with everything a traveler may need; a fully appointed kitchen and bathroom, as well as unexpected additions - a small cooler and ice pack, beach towels, insect repellent, sun screen, beach chairs, etc. We highly recommend. The studio was above our expectations. For such a small square footage, it had everything we needed and was so well thought out for placement of everything. There was a beautiful tables for eating outside or just enjoying the night siunds of the frogs. Everything was so clean and the decor was beautiful. We enjoyed the quaint beach at the end of the road and the outdoor shower. This place thought of everything from coolers to mosquito spray to binoculars. The host left us some delicious bananas and cookies as well. We will definitely stay here again upon our return to Hilo. Absolutely perfect!!
Great location and amazing vacation!
My wife and I stayed at this property for our anniversary trip to the big island. This property is truly a gem! We stayed in the studio unit, which is well equipped and a perfect size for a couple. It has a wonderful quiet AC unit which kept the room cool and comfortable during the night or if you want to cool down after spending time in the sun. The grounds were so nicely kept! Wonderful landscaping (loved the papaya tree!), shaded seating areas (and loungers in the sun), a nice propane Weber grill for grilling, shared washer and dryer, just a short walk to the beach, and a outside shower house after you're done made this truly your own paradise. There are a lot of beach "extras" supplied such as beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler for food/beverages, which came in handy. Best of all, it was so nice interacting with Claudia & Dave, the owners! They are very kind, helpful, and a pleasure to talk with. Thank you, Claudia, for making our anniversary trip so wonderful, relaxing, and memorable!
We loved every minute of our 10 night vacation in this completely appointed studio by the ocean. I soaked in the tide pools every day and came home refreshed
We loved this little studio, which is perfect for a couple or even a couple with one or two small children. Don’t let the drive through an somewhat industrial section of Hilo fool you. Once you get to this little place, tucked away in a lush part of the island near the beach, you’ll be happy you stayed there. Everything was perfect for us, though be advised that the bed and pillows are quite firm. Don’t leave food out where ants might be attracted to it, which is good advice anywhere in Hawaii. The coqui frogs are pretty loud in the area at night, but the owner courteously provided earplugs. The location is very convenient to a number of amenities in town, just a very short drive away. There are also several beach parks nearby that are excellent for seeing sea turtles and for snorkeling. We would happily stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here a few nights during our 2 weeks in the Hawaiian islands for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was very clean and updated! The host was very easy to get in touch with when I had a question. It was a very quiet neighborhood with a peaceful garden area in the back! We loved it! Thank you Claudia!!!
