It was the perfect location for us. It was literally just feet from the beach pavilion where our large 3 day family reunion was held. I appreciated that it was quiet and clean.
Beautiful room, great location and we loved the screened in lanai. Great host, very informative and accommodating. Great choice for Hilo with close access to Volcano National Park! Highly recommended!

Hand carved doors, flawless marble tiled floors, impecable craftsmanship, private grounds next to the beach. Nice, quiet and friendly 'and' there was a salsa class with the owners our first night. Fun!
I really can't think of anything negative about this property. We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again if we return to the Big Island. Chris and Renee were gracious hosts. The room was as clean as it could be, the gardens around the house were beautiful and the close access to the beach was great. At night motion lights turn on to light the way to your room and parking is behind a locked gate which opens when you are leaving. They really thought of everything. Volcanoes National Park is a 45 minute drive. There are many good restaurants within a10 minute drive and they provide a nice summary of them when you check in. Aloha until next time.

A very well-maintained house with multiple rooms well-equipped with everything you could possibly need or want just steps from the ocean. The host was extremely responsive.
