This was the last stop on our trip. Great place to wind down and finish a great vacation.
The house was perfect for a family vacation with my sons, daughters in law and 2 1/2 year old grandson. The wading pool and lawns were great for a toddler to swim and play and the house was spacious enough for all of us to cook, eat and hang out together. 2 of the rooms were big enough to accommodate a full size rental crib, which was so nice. The beach at the beach club was ideal for a little one, as well. Snorkeling gear in the garage was a welcome bonus. Everything clean and gorgeous!!

Great location near a private beach and grocery store. Our family of 6 (3 couples) had plenty of space to rest and shower after our fun filled days with 3bedrooms/3baths.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, nice pans, and knifes that cut well! Plenty of items in the garage to have a picnic and play at the beach (I.e.,ice chest, chairs, umbrellas boogie boards).
Very nice house in a great neighborhood. Our two teens appreciated each having their own bathrooms and beach access. The garage is well stocked with bikes and beach gear for all ages and the open kitchen is great for family dinners. Would highly recommend!
Great location, very clean and well stocked kitchen. The community pool and exercise room is a plus. Easy to walk to the Fairmont for a drink or dinner. Also appreciate the Mauna Lani beach club pass.

This is a beautifully furnished property. Garage was filled with lots of "toys". Owner promptly answered our questions. Only suggestions I would offer is it would be helpful to add some basic amenities in the bathroom like soap and shampoo/conditioner in case guests assume it is there and don't pack any.
The house was very clean and comfortable, and Kira was very responsive to all of our questions and provided info about local services and amenities. The Ka-Milo community is walking distance to the Fairmont Orchid where we went to the Luau, and the Maunu Lani resort where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch and saw sea turtles on the beach. This is a HOA community so the amenities are shared (and the garden hot tub wasn't working while we were there). The houses are very tightly packed - so if you're sitting out on the back lanai to enjoy the breezes or bbq then you're going to hear the conversations from the 2 neighboring properties. The great room has nice decor and the TV has a theatre-style surround sound system. The pools and fitness center are a very short walk from the house. The beach club is a short drive away and has a great sandy beach and reasonably priced bar/restaurant, with pedestrian access to the historic fish ponds and the Maunu Lani beach walk.
This house is VERY nice. My family of 6 loved staying here for Christmas. My littles loved the pool and the private beach.

Great property! Was just as advertised. Slightly more expensive with all the fees are included but with it. Was great to have in-laws have private rooms with bathrooms. Beach club was a big amenity for us as well as amazing pool area. About 25 minutes north of Kona.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kira’s home. I would say if anything the pictures on the listing don’t do it justice! There is a beautiful dining table that I didn’t see in any of the pictures. The layout was perfect for my in-laws, my wife and myself, and our two tween/teen kids. It is beautifully appointed and truly feels like an island retreat. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. The bathrooms are beautiful.
The home is so well equipped, there was literally nothing else we needed. I forgot a game we enjoy playing (not a common one) and opened a drawer and there it was!
The kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet meal. We spent equal time dining out and cooking/grilling at “home”, mainly because this home made it so easy!
The garage has everything you need for a great day at the beach and then some! We were 10 minutes from our kids’ favorite beach and even closer to two others we really enjoy. Having access to the beach club is a great perk, as is the beautiful pool and pavilion area which is a two minute walk.
If handicap accessibility is a requirement for you, as it is for us, the one level layout and walk-in shower made this place very easy to navigate.
We are already dreaming of our return to Kira’s Hawaiian Retreat. And we definitely don’t say that about all of the places we have stayed while traveling. It really is a special place and is the perfect home away from home.
