It was in a beautiful location. The only issue we had was that the elevator near our room was broken. And, there was no map in the binder in the room so we didn't know if there was another elevator or not. My husband had really bad mobility issues. It would have been nice if someone had let us know that the elevator was broken and that there was another one down the hallway. It really impacted our first day there - unloading all of our items was a BIG pain.

I can’t say enough good words about this property! Everything you need to have fun on the island was here, and the lanai was amazing. I can’t wait to come back!
We enjoyed our stay at this condo and enjoyed the ocean views and pool every day. Liked the upper floor location and parking garage was good. Nicely decorated with Hawaiian style art and very well cleaned. A few small things could have been better: no coffee provided and kitchen supplies were sparse. Headboard brackets broken so had to put towels behind it to not make noise anytime moving on bed. AC had a rattling noise that was pretty loud. Too bad the lanai sun shade system didn't work since it was very warm while we visited. The rental management Co used was not easy to communicate with. We got locked out on the last day after extending our checkout and they could not get us helped. We finally got in touch with the owner through the resort office who was helpful, but we almost were late getting to the airport. Overall was a good stay though.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Royal Sea Cliff and would definitely considering staying here again! This unit was a perfect fit for my needs. It was nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings and stylish decorations. The kitchen was more than adequately provisioned with all that was needed for cooking and eating within the unit.
The lanai provided a gorgeous backdrop for meals as well as plenty of space and furniture to enjoy the day. The only thing I would have liked is the ability to cover part of the area by a shade or awning as much of the lanai received direct sunlight from late morning through the remainder of the day.
I was only on the Big Island for a few days, and did not get a chance to enjoy the pools at Royal Sea Cliff, though I could see them from the lanai and they looked very inviting.
All in all, a great place to stay on the Big Island!
We absolutely loved this rental! What can I say. Great location in Kona. Parking was never a problem. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The best thing was the wrap around lanai! We beautiful sunsets almost every night. Left the bedroom windows open to the sound of crashing waves below. Very satisfied stay.
This place was fantastic! The property overall was really nice. The lanai was an absolute dream. We ate breakfast out there daily and spent tons of time watching whales and could even see fish in the breaking waves. Bring your binoculars! The furnishings inside were very tasteful. The kitchen was equipped with the cooking supplies we needed. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool and hot tub but they looked great from the lanai. I would definitely stay here again!

this property is amazing. no better view of the ocean! no obstructed views & patio was very spacious and private. multiple seating options. condo had everything needed to make meals. lots of beach toys & chairs no cooler. condo had beach towels for use. close enough to town if you wanted to walk but it is not as close as you would think. we took uber about $7-10 one way but parking starts at 25.00 so uber was a great deal!
The westward views from the large deck are amazing! Unobstructed postcard views of sunsets every evening. The unit itself was spacious but a bit outdated and weathered. The deck is really the best part of the unit. The location was great and about a 30 minute stroll into downtown Kailua Kona.
