This place has no A/C and nowhere on the description does it list this. I came to Hawai'i to be comfortable, not stiffled nightly by humidity. The owner refused a partial refund for a 2 week stay after I expressed not wanting to stay here. I didn't expect a full refund, but at least half would have been nice. Never again using this app or service.
Inside the suite, it was clean, super stylish, neat- etc. The outside which is not a reflection of the owner of this suite- needs a little work. The owner responded quickly and provided all needed information. mahalo!
The room was nice and clean. I saw one cockroach the first day. I really needed quiet but the person above me was stomping and dragging things across the floor from 8:30 pm to 2:30/3:00 am. This was a Sat. night. Also very loud fireworks were set off at night in the parking lot behind the unit. There is no AC so it was quite hot at night. First floor unit so did not feel safe with screen doors open. No lick on screen doors and they were not in best shape. The location is not quiet. Couple arguing all night the first night (Fri.). The complex was probably nice in its day, but looks run down. The room itself is nicely furnished and amenities like coffee and kitchen equipment were great. Few minutes’ walk from grocery store and restaurant/pub was convenient. I would not rent again as I needed sleep for a tennis competition and I did not sleep much both nights.
This is a, Virbo apartment on Expedia, it’s on the first floor in a complex. I reviewed the list and that has now been changed. When we arrived at the parking lot per the address we couldn’t find the apartment. The place is likes a maze!!! It’s not a hotel as we thought. There was no check in area! We had to call the owner of the property several times to find the property.
This is not what we were looking for, The description did not properly describe what what our accommodations would be. Since we couldn’t see the complete set up the policy of losing our total payment for a six night reservation was a ripped off.
We were very happy with the studio for our stay in Hilo. It was clean and close to the downtown, restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to the airport. Located on the quiet side of the island.
This property is like walking into a home, it was beautifully and very well maintained. Unfortunately we didnot use the pool area due to the number of birds around the property, GPS found it hard to locate the actual entry point. Was very clean and plenty of everyday supplies and very well decorated, enjoyed our days there.
Centrally located to great eating places. The studio was extremely clean. Directions to find it were challenging. Ducks were in the community pool and pool did not appear to be clean.
We enjoyed it for a week. It was as represented in the pictures or better, had everything needed for comfort, was close to MANY nice restaurants, convenient to downtown, next to the bay, had a nice pool, and the owner response was immediate for any questions we had. A nice place to come home to and relax after a day of exploring the big island.
Our condo was beautiful and immaculate, our host Linda was amazing and understanding. I Highly recommend this room and would stay again.
Linda has thought of every possible need and provides a beautiful space. She was also so quick to reply to my several questions and I really appreciated that. Would absolutely recommend!!
Nice condo, well kept and nicely decorated.
Linda's condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need: bed, bathroom, porch, tv, fully stocked kitchen, pool. Linda communicates quickly and goes above and beyond to make you feel special. It is very close to everything in town. Just know that there is no air conditioning. We were fine with the fans on and doors open, but good to know ahead of time.
Great communication and pre check-in information from the owner. The condo is well appointed, decorated very nicely and the setting is very nice. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again my next trip to Hilo.
We were very happy with the accommodation. Linda’s instructions prior to our arrival was spot on. The studio interior was excellent, quiet neighborhood, parking was a breeze. The location is easily accessible to the areas we visited. I definitely would stay here again.
Loved the remodel unit everything needed was provided. Would stay there again. Linda was available to answer any questions i had.
