Spent 7 nights at the vacation rental. Location was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. I will stay here again.
This room is privately owned and not part od the Pacific Monarch hotel. However the check-in is conducted at the receltion of the hotel, but the communication with the host ia nothing to do with the hotel.We unfortunately booked a studio for our honeymoon and we regreted a lot. The pictures are missleading. The studio was a horrible experience for us. It's surrounded by consteuction areas which are very noisy starting with 6AM. Ext to the window there is a power generator from another hotel which is extremely noisy and didn't let us sleep. AC is also very noisy, dirty and placed close to the bed (pillows). You cannot sleapl with it turned on in the night. If you turn it on during the day is spreads a lot of dust.The views are 10% ocean, 40% co steuction areas, 50% other hotels.The balcony is super small and some metal objects for construction were stored there.The shower cabin is super small, the couch is full of stains and the pillows are disgusting.Overall the studio needs maintainance, as the walls present stains, as well as broken tiles.We asked the property to offer us a silent room 2 months before our arrival and avoid the construction area. We were accomodated exactly the opposite. We asked again to be moved to a different room and they replied after 3 days.The only goos things that I can mention are the location (Wikiki - in the middle of the loudest area), close to the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, small kitchen and beach umbrella/chairs
The property was well kept and included everything you need. The management team was very friendly and responsive. We loved our trip and would stay here again!

Reservation, check in and check out were a breeze. The unit is centrally located, just a short walk from the Seaside Avenue in Waikiki, close to many shops and dining options. Great value and location! Definitely would stay there again!

Our stay in Pacific Monarch 04 was nice. Good location and unit was as represented. Our stay is probably not a good representation of the property since construction was going on in the building and the adjacent high rise. The roof top pool was closed for renovation and fire alarms were being installed on our floor. Construction started in the early AM on the adjacent highrise with quite a bit of noise making sleeping past 6:30 unrealistic. Besides that, the folks at reception were very helpful and the Waikiki restaurants and night life was fun.
Great location, everything you need is located around a corner. Did not care for the construction noise on a tower being built next door. but everything else was great. probably would do it again. great location.
The room was clean but is definitely showing some maintenance needs.
Property is an older style as most are. Very close to beach and amenities. No resort fees is a bonus with a top deck pool, spa, sauna and games room. TV didn't work and took me 3 days to work it out after retuning it. Some information on location, operating the TV and building amenities would be a lot better than the 12 page rental agreement. Could do with some new crockery and glasses. Plates chipped and coffee cups aged and cracked. Priced reasonable for Hawaii. Would I stay again? Probably.
Located close to everything you need. Being a rental unit, do not expect any help from the hotel staff. They will treat you like the plague.
As for communicating with the owners, they close at 5, and are not in a rush to return calls or messages.
All in all, you get what you pay for. This place serves its purpose for a place to crash between adventures.
Comfortable place with nice views. Close proximity to a lot of great spots including the beach.

Great location, bed was comfortable and place is relatively clean. Surprised to see beach chairs were available and even a surfboard. Balcony is nice and long, not much of a beach view but the roof top where the pool is has an amazing view. Would stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay. The only downfall is the 35 dollar parking and lack of no street parking. We walked 10 blocks everyday so we could park in a cheaper garage. Easy check in and great pool with hot tub! Will stay here again!

We cannot say enough good about the staff at Pacific Monarch they were friendly & helpful especially Christieann. Our problem was our actual room 1304 when we arrived we were shocked to see torn drapes & a dirty room. Never mind the plastic netting covering the balcony & blocking your view. Would a screen door not have been a better choice. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, no tea towels to dry your dishes & no dish cloth to wash your dishes. Our host Lei Hawaiian Realty did bring us a drain cover that did not hold water to protect the drain & two hand towels to dry our dishes after we complained. We also asked if it would be possible to get some salt & pepper. Our hosts reply was we do not supply any condiments. Really? I must say the shower was excellent we just wish it had some shelves in it to hold your shampoo etc. We did find the bed extremely comfortable but when we stripped the bed to wash the sheets we discovered a disgusting stained mattress cover. To top it all off we came across a couple of large cockroaches in our suite. We contacted our host right away to see if they would spray our room as we had I believe another five days left to stay there. Our host said that was not necessary they would bring a trap over to catch them. The lady arrived with a paper trap with sticky paper inside. She went to hand it to me & I asked her if she would mind assembling it for me as I had never dealt with cockroaches & I had no idea how to use it. She put it together for me & as she assembled it she laughed & told me that if we saw two cockroaches there were probably 20 or more in our room. A few days later our host called & offered to move us. I told my husband that with only a couple of days left I was not prepared to pack up & move. I would have moved if they had offered it when we first contacted them but they did not offer it right away. Pacific Monarch is in a good location & I would stay there again with a different host.

We appreciated our stay because it is close to the beach, has a rooftop pool, walking distance to everything in Waikiki and across the street from bus stop. The studio is OK - very basic & small. Was not impressed but it served its purpose of eating, showering and sleeping. The rental agency said they will charge me an extra day because I checked in early but the hotel should not have given me the key then or should have told me I will be charged if I enter a few hrs early. However, IMO this is wrong and I will contest this with my cc company. Wish there was a drying rack for the balcony to dry bathing suits and some beach towels. We stayed 6 nights so we would have appreciated extra towels too. Mini fridge/freezer was fine for us. Floor does get dusty so had to sweep daily. Did not use AC, wifi, sofa bed or TV so can't comment on those. Shower had hot water and good pressure. Wasn't sure how to lock the door from inside though. PLEASE add a dead bolt or some sort of extra security lock in addition to the door knob. The lock on door knob didn't work. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the coffee that was provided. They also provided dish soap, paper towels and a few trash bags. We were mother & small child. Another adult may have been too crowded and we would have definitely needed to use the sofa bed. Overall, this place worked for us for the 6 nights but not any longer.

This condo is in a great location and was very well supplied for what we needed. The balcony and large sliding doors provided nice access to ocean breeze and sounds of the city.
It was a great stay. It was better than the pictures suggested. Would stay again!

We were there for a week. Lots of rain which is very unusual however the location was close to everything we needed and close to the beach when the sun stuck its head out.
The unit was clean however a little dated. Nice view from the room with a small view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay

Tough to sleep
The fact that it’s so close to the beach was perfect. It’s a nice room with a kitchenette so if we wanted to cook we could. Maybe if we’d rented a car and could buy groceries we would have done that. Absolutely beautiful location.
