We were here for a week Feb 2025. Location is great. Drank our coffee every morning on the lanai watching the ocean. Unit was clean and comfortable. Parked our rental car at the banyan garage. It was just a 3 block walk and best price in town. Just a couple blocks to the beach an a short walk to international market place.
This was the 3rd time I stayed in this unit, it’s clean has everything you need to make your stay comfortable the location is perfect and the owner Mark is very easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Would highly recommend.
The beach is stone’s throw away. View is great. Where else can you see the sunset from your bed? Host is amazing. Location is in a middle of everything you would want.
Only one tiny downside is there’s no kitchenette sink.

We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the room and location. Very close to the beach..a few minute walk...and some good dining nearby. We would stay here again.

The reason i rated 3 stars overall is because i was never informed it was a private room. It said it was is a hotel and with a good view. What i found weird was that it never said which hotel. I needed to download a different app to get that information. This is the 3rd time i go to a hawaii and it was for my honeymoon.I expected it to be luxurious and calming. But no. We arrived late Sunday july 21st.and gave my name and the just handed us the keys.they didnt asked for a credit card like hotels usually do. I get a message from the app i had to download after booking. Saying that they needed written consent for them to get into our room, i said oh ok. So i planned alot of water activities with my husband and we used the towels and expected to get clean ones. So i message them. And it turned out that we needed to wash and clean our own towels and linens. At first i thought it was maybe a misunderstanding but after the 3rd day we saw that our room was still not cleaned and no clean towels. So we went to the front desk and they said that we are staying in a private apartment, thats why we were not paying a resort fee and that is why we didnt get the same treatment and amenities as regular guest. I was really disappointed with this treatment 😪. As newly weds in our honeymoon we wanted to be relaxing and not washing hotel linens and towels. We had to go buy laundry detergent ourselves. Stores were close by. Beach was close by. But hell. I would had rather payed a fee.
If you don't want to pay Kalakaua Ave pricing, this is quality just a block back!
This is the second time I stayed in this unit, the location is perfect close to everything. It’s very clean and has everything you need to enjoy your time in Waikiki.

Great location, great balcony, parking sucks.
This was my first VRBO experience and I personally would prefer to book through a hotel.
Would stay here again! This was one of my favorite rooms to stay in while visiting home. Pulling up to the hotel is a bit tricky, and parking your car can be a bit of additional planning, but the room itself was comfy and lovely.
Very clean, a bit of ocean view, 2 balconies, great location close to so much, everything we needed! Awesome trip, great stay!
Enjoyed staying in this unit. Great views as well as close access to beach. Absolutely would consider this unit in the future.
