We don’t think there was a single thing we would have changed about the property,the hosts, the area, and even the weather. We utilized every amenity at the house, including the swimming pool, the pool toys, the golf cart, the pool table, the pinball machine and the beautifully stopped kitchen. It was wonderful having space to spread out with poor families under one roof. The beach club was easy to get to, had some good snorkeling and a restaurant with a bar. And snorkels and fins from the house came in really handy. We also loved playing on the two-tiered cutting green course. It was everything we hoped for and Julie and Alan we’re out outstanding hosts, on top of any questions or needs that we had.I would love to add more photos but the system won’t accept them…
Our family of 13 just returned from an amazingly week at the Blue Oasis! It was just as described- spacious, stunning views, beautifully decorated, and move-in ready with all the amenities. The professional kitchen and laundry room were well-stocked and we added a single cot to each of the king bedrooms to accommodate the children.The golf cart was awesome and was used daily to get to the Beach Club, the golf course, and the local shopping area. We especially enjoyed free access to the Beach Club's private white sand beach, large shade trees, outdoor restaurant/bar, and the best snorkeling. The house was also centrally located so that we were able to experience the Kiluaeu volcano right after it erupted and the Lava Tubes, snorkel with Dolphin Discoveries (ask for Dennis, Robert, Craig) at Captain Cook's coral reef and later with the manta rays at night, enjoy a Luau and another casual outdoor oceanside sunset dinner at the Fairmont Orchid, and dolphin encounters at the Dolphin Quest at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Then always back to the house to enjoy the pool, hot tub, arcade machine, pool table, and the putting green!The property manager, Julie, was exceptional and not only provided welcome gifts, but also was quick to answer any of our questions about local activities and recommendations. The beach chairs, beach toys, and especially the beach towels were appreciated on almost every water excursion we made!We highly recommend this property and would certainly return!
My family and friends (a group of 9) stayed at the Blue Oasis for 8 nights at the end of May. This house is incredible and aptly named as an oasis surrounded by a massive area of lava rocks typical for the west side of the Big Island. This house is perfect for a group of 10, but is also large enough to accommodate a few more on couches or cots. The master bedroom on the first floor is huge and will satisfy any VIP couple in your group, but all 4 of the other rooms are spacious and comfortable. Three of the rooms had nice views out of multiple windows and the other 2, one of which I stayed in, had a nice garden view. There are so many nice features to this house, but the best features for our large group of people with diverse interests and different schedules were as follows: 2 each of front-loading clothes washers and dryers with a large number of beach and bath towels, 2 dish washers and large collections of plates, bowls, and glasses, 2 large refrigerator/freezers, ample counter space for food preparation, a moderate-size outdoor grill, a pool table and game machine to play while waiting around for the ones who take forever to get ready to go out, access to a golf cart which can take you to a nearby grocery store and to a private beach club with a nice beach and bar/restaurant, an upstairs deck with great views, and a first-level outdoor space with a heated pool, a whirlpool, and reclining deck chairs and 2 large umbrellas, free parking and wi-fi. Fantastic hosts, too.
Beautifully maintained and well equipped property in a great location on the South Kohala coast. We love to snorkel so made use of access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club almost every day. We chartered a boat with Sea Quest to take us to Capt. Cook's monument for snorkeling. Everyone loved it! The family of four booked the manta ray night dive and were thrilled with the experience. Some made the drive to Volcanoes National Park and had a great day there. The Mauna Lani golf course made the golfers happy. And everyone had fun using the golf cart.The house was truly perfect for our family (8 adults and two kids age 10 and 11). Five bedrooms each with en suite bathroom made everyone super comfortable. The pool and hot tub were used every day. Upper level was our happy gathering place, especially the deck with a view of palm trees over the rooftops and Mauna Kea volcano in the distance. We cooked most meals at home and found everything we needed and more in the well equipped kitchen. Julie, the property manager, could not have been more welcoming. She was readily available for questions and quickly responded to a couple of minor things that needed attention. Five stars on all accounts. This was a truly memorable and special vacation for our family. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

The reason I gave a 4 for cleaning was that the floor was dirty with sand and light dirt that left our feet dirty.
Beautiful house and property. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the pool table. House could use a little maintenance, a few things broken, window’s that didn’t open because the handle was missing, etc. Property manager was very responsive and helpful.
My husband and I took 3 of our kids, their spouses and 6 of our grandkids to the big island and stayed at the blue oasis. It was an amazing house with tons of space. The kitchen was awesome and had excellent appliances, an abundance of dishware and glassware and all the necessities to cook meals. The fact that there were 3 sinks, two dishwashers and two refrigerators was super helpful for a group of our size. There were two washers and dryers that were used regularly. Pool towels and toys were available as well as a huge assortment of beach supplies. The golf cart was awesome for trips to the market area and the beautiful beach. The property manager was quick to respond to anything we needed and they worked to meet our needs

Amazing place with privacy. Plenty of room and a wonderful layout for extended family and large group. You may want to let people know that it is a 30/40 minute drive to any of the tourist attractions such as swimming with Manta Rays etc.
This property was well suited for our extended family of 13. Everyone was able to have their own bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The younger children used the pool nonstop. The beach access was perfect and snorkeling was a big hit. It was close to Blue Hawaiian Helicopter and shopping. Location was excellent. House was well maintained and we felt safe in the gated community. The owner worked with us on a few special requests. Property management responded quickly to take care of a small concern. WE LOVED OUR STAY
