The view was stunning! Absolutely loved waking up to misty mountains and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Everything was fantastic. The apartment was clean and lots of things were provided including beach chairs.
Such an amazing stay! The pictures of the view don’t do it justice! The location of the unit couldn’t be better, close to both the pool and restaurant. The resort is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Having the golf cart take you down to the beach and back is a major plus! The owners are so nice and helpful, and their property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic! We will definitely be renting from them again!
This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed in this unit, and obviously I love it. The view is everything and I appreciate that the lanai has both a table and chairs and a great lounge chair. The bed is very comfortable, the linens soft, the kitchenette very well equipped. I enjoy the resort - it offers a lot of amenities.
Beautiful sunset view over Hanalei Bay. You get to watch nene right outside on your lanai. There is no real kitchen if you need to cook but there is a restaurant and bar right at the resort.

There was no cream or sugar for the coffee. Also we expected a microwave but there wasn’t one.
Check in was very easy. We arrived very late in the evening and the desk clerks were there to give us keys and pertinent information. Condo was in a convenient location on the large property, close to the pool, with an incredible view from the ground floor and very close to parking. Condo was clean and had loads of beach toys to use - fins, snorkel gear, towels, beach chairs, floaties, etc.
Check in was smooth and the room was just as shown on site. The bed was extremely comfy and the A/C worked well on the hot days. The parking was an issue. The site says 'parking close by' and it was difficult in the afternoon and impossible after dinner hours. We had to have the valet double park our car on the opposite side of the resort. Other than that, the accommodations were great.
Everything about our stay was incredible. Our room was clean and beautiful. The staff is extremely outgoing and friendly. I would highly recommend this resort and room. I would book it again.

The view of Hanalei Bay and mountains from the unit’s lanai is spectacular!Conveniently located near Hanalei and Princeville. The Happy Talk Bar has great drinks and food. Next time we will rent the unit next door with a kitchen.
Loved our stay here! Convenient to Hanalei Bay, also an easy walk over to Hotel 1 for sunset drinks. The shower is like nothing I’ve experienced. There are all the extra jets in the walls and you get a 360 clean
Beautiful location, easy access to room, and an amazing view. Cute visitors everyday with the Nei Nei (Hawaiian Geese) and tremendous sunsets make the stay feel so unique and memorable. Not the quickest or easiest drive to the actual resort, as it is reallt far into Princeville, but worth the extra time to get there. Great communication with the Host (Stacey) as they allowwd us to check out a little later due to flying out that night. We also left behind a cell phone cord and was immediately notfiied that it would be left at the feont desk. We would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Kauai.
Very relaxing with a great view and convenient ground floor unit. Pool just outside front door was great.
This was my second stay in this unit and even though I knew what to expect I was still impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. I couldn't have asked for a better kitchenette nor a more comfortable bed. The view is spectatcular.
The title of this unit is very accurate. The view is absolutely stunning & immediately set the tone for our very short stay putting big smiles & excitement in our faces. For our overnight purposes, it was just right & had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable & the bathroom is spacious with an updated dual shower. The AC kept the room very nice & cool. The convenience of being on the 1st floor & in one of the buildings right next to the parking lot made things much easier for us to unload & load our luggage. We’ve stayed at this resort before in a different unit & love all of the amenities & the location. The only big drawback is finding parking. But the unit itself was enjoyable for our night stay. Mahalo!
Property location and views are unbeatable. However, the unit is a little dated and some things could be updated (i.e. new curtains, a microwave, etc.). Check-in was delayed for unforeseen reasons but the hosts were very nice and accommodating while we waited.
Great view of Hanalei Bay and beautiful grounds. Clean room with comfortable king bed. Beach gear, snorkel equipment, and ice chest in closet was nice touch. Parking spots can be challenge in the evening - had to use valet due to no empty spots but hotel staff was very accommodating.
Lacking basics. No closet!

Our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort was amazing! The views from our patio were mesmerizing. We loved on site resort restaurant happy hour and music. The pool waterfalls were elegantly designed. We hope to stay here again! Thank you!
My husband and I loved our stay here. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs, ice chest, and even snorkel gear. House stocked and clean and grounds of resort lovely. Thanks for sharing your paradise with us!!

Unit was a bit dated and in need of a refresh but otherwise clean and had access to a great beach, pool and hot tub!

The room and the resort were both beautiful! It was unfortunate that the resort was remodeling the second restaurant space and no longer uses the swim up bar. We didn’t realize until the last day that we could use the bar and order food at the hotel sharing the beach area, which we wish was communicated by check in staff earlier. Overall wonderful room with spectacular views!!! We would highly consider staying again when we return to Kauai!
We had a great time in Princeville and loved many things about the accommodations...PHENOMENAL view, great spa shower, comfy bed. We did think the ad was somewhat misleading. The unit is called a "studio". All studios that I've ever been to have full kitchens (even if they're small). This one didn't have a sink (we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink using hand soap) or a microwave. If the owner's closet were moved, there would be enough space for a larger kitchen. The other surprise was that the unit is part of a resort. We did enjoy the amenities of the resort (e.g., clean beach towels every day, the cart ride to the private beach, etc.) but it we didn't know in advance that there would be check-in, resort and parking fees over and above the VRBO cost. Also, given those expenses, it would have been nice to have early check-in. We arrived at 11:30 and couldn't get in to the room until 4 pm. To be fair, the front desk wouldn't allow early check-in without permission from the owner.
A very quiet property! The view from this unit is indescribably beautiful! We loved it.
