Everything was great! We were more than happy with the accommodations. The beds were comfortable, there was more than enough room in the unit for all of us, the pool and restaurant were amazing. We can't wait to come back.
Our first time to Hawaii. We visited 3 islands with the Big Island our last stop. The resort/condo was beautiful! The pool was amazing.
Lovely condo, great location; having access to a pool, gym, and restaurant was clutch. Close driving distance to very nice beaches and other interesting sites.
We loved everything about this place. Lication was great, beautiful surroundings and close to the ocean and beautiful views and sunsets. Appartment was sooo nice and comfortable with great amenities. The tennis, golf and pool were also great. Loved the pool club restaurant. Such good food.
This is the second time we have stayed in this community and we love the amenities and the location. This particular unit was the cleanest, best maintained, most organized, nice little welcoming extras and beautifully decorated VRBO experience yet. Absolutely loved our stay in this condo. This one is a winner. We will definitely be back.
Stunning property! We thoroughly enjoyed spending time outside on the lanai with the gorgeous tropical landscaping and native birds filling the air with their songs. The entire house was well stocked and had everything we needed including pickleball rackets, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, sand chairs, beach towels etc. The condo was bright and nicely decorated. Beds were comfy and so was the living room furniture. There were board games and books to enjoy also. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals which was awesome since we made most of our meals at the condo and enjoyed them on the lanai which also had a large and fairly new large Webber gas grill that we used nearly every night. Inside there is a nice large dining table to eat at or play games. The property was quiet and secure. The AC was wonderful but after the first day we didn’t use it since we had acclimated to the weather. The master bathroom was very large and spacious. The pool was amazing!! What a view! We enjoyed many sunsets while enjoying a cocktail from the bar. The pool was never crowded and we always found a place to sit and enjoy our time there. We walked to the nearby black sand beach. We highly recommend this property, it really made our family vacation memorable and look forward to coming back!
Great location, decent price, our favor complex to stay on the island. But to the owner 2 rolls of TP really for 9 days and the bunk bet was horrible? Beach chairs and toys were a good amenity, the snorkels need replacing. great place ty for having us we would love to stay with you next time ty again.
Our extended family goes to Big Island every year for last two weeks of the year. We rent 2-3 units at the Hali I Kai each year since 2008. South Kohala doesn’t play pricing games and is transparent about charges. The unit is fully stocked with everything you need (not food or alcohol). Second year we have used them and it’s been the best experience among all the past agencies

My girlfriends and I had an amazing stay! Unit is exactly as listed - spacious bedrooms and primary bedroom/bathroom exceeded my resort expectations for this girls trip. Kitchen is fully stocked and we felt they went the extra mile by leaving us some cleaning supplies and laundry detergent to use at our leisure and not have to replace - something a lot of places don’t do for you. Sitting out on the lanai every day listening to nature was incredible. It was the relaxing trip we needed. We had birds coming right up to us on the table just saying hello! And the best part… you guys… there were turkeys on the property that would greet us everyday! Just a little friendly hello and then moving on. Straight out of Snow White! Property was minutes from some of the best beaches in America (not just my opinion, Google it). Management always responded very promptly, great communication. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning the thermostat but to be honest it was never an issue for us. As women over 40, we are very much into our a/c especially overnight. There are clear instructions posted literally right next to the thermostat and if you still have questions, I’m positive management will respond right away and do whatever they can to make your stay the best possible. They certainly did for us. I would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again.
