Great home in a great location. The only drawback is no air conditioning which seems to be typical in this area. The mornings and evenings were comfortable with the windows open, but the afternoons were warm inside the home. Everything else was excellent!
This was our family’s 3rd year staying in this wonderful house and we absolutely love it! Perfect location, clean, easy, with spectacular views! Mahalo! We’ll be back!

This property is ideal for three couples or a large family. The views and location are amazing. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Even though the property does not have AC, the owners provide fans in every bedroom and sleeping is very comfortable.
From start to finish, this was the best vacation property I have ever stayed at. In addition to the amazing property, we had access to a concierge which was unexpected, but very much needed. I can’t recommend this property or the management company that took care of us enough.

Amazing views!! Loved seeing turtles every day at the sea wall. We were fortunate to see whales and enjoy walks down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of family time enjoying the gorgeous lania. The interior design of the home is spacious and very comfortable. The property management team is exceptional and quickly resolved a minor issue. We definitely recommend this property!

ALOHA ago Hale Pohaku Kai, This was The most wonderful vacation of my lifetime!!!As a bucket list trip for my retirement, I was searching for a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom home to vacation with my daughter,her hubby, and my son. This beautiful home,Hale Pohaku Kai, was the PERFECT place for us to be All together under one roof, yet each have their own privacy. We had spectacular views from every window, and the beautiful Pacific was at end of driveway. The overall location of this home allowed for easy day trips exploring the entire island and the luxury of returning to our own quiet and peaceful home base, to plan the next days adventure. All questions I had were answered before our arrival, and every possible amenity was there, as expected. The home was very clean, property well maintained and up to date. Each of us slept comfortably with high quality mattresses and bedding in each bedroom. My most treasured times were sipping morning coffee on the main lanai and watching sunrise, as my adult children joined me to greet the day! I would more than strongly recommend this magnificent home for anyone’s next family vacation. Location is perfect, close to sea wall, beaches, shops, places to eat, and hotels where other family members stayed. House was spectacular with views off the upstairs lanai overlooking sea and another large lanai off the living room. You will not be disappointed, plenty of private places as well as places to be together as a group.
Property was beautiful and clean. Fully stocked kitchen with all the items needed for cooking with the family. Plenty of space for parking and small water spout to rinse off feet prior to entering the home. Lovely property; but a whole house away from the water. Beautiful ocean views looking over another house or between two other homes. Listing described as entire house; but definitely not the case. Homeowner’s suite (inaccessible to guests) is attached with an adjoining locked door to one of the master suites. Bedrooms had plenty of space with full baths in each which was ideal for privacy. Living and community areas were very limited unless you opened up the sliding doors to the beautiful lanai. No A/C made it tough to sleep during warmer evenings. Condo parking lot located directly behind the home made for some rough nights with car alarms and people coming and going all hours of the night. In hindsight, we could have stayed in a true ocean front property with a larger yard and more community space for a comparable price.
Stayed at this beautiful, spacious property with 4 adults 2 kids and it was perfect. The spacious front lanai with ocean views and trade wind breezes was the favorite hang out. The home's decor, finishes and condition are first rate.
The home is elevated above the property in front of it, back off the ocean front road, makes it very peaceful.
Overall, we had a very relaxing and adventurous experience. The house was very clean and well supplied with all the essential provisions. The location in Poipu couldn't have be better. The house gets a little hot at times even when leaving all the windows open and good trade winds, but i pretty much think that's how Kauai is, most houses on the island do not have central air.
I think it was somewhat disconcerting that the owner kept the ring video active at the front door at all hours, in fact there were cameras covering the entire perimeter of the house. It kinda felt like an invasion of our privacy as our conversations entering the house could also be heard. One of the exterior cameras also seemed to video the outside shower area. I thought that VRBO did not allow security camera footage unless the owner explicitly stated in their contract that they would be doing this which they did not. Nonetheless, our experience focused on island activities and not the house. I just thought i should be honest in writing my review so that future renters could also be aware of this. I agree with the many positives past renters had said in their reviews.

My family returned to this gorgeous property for the second year in a row! We love the house, with its easy kitchen and lovely porch. The Poipu area is wonderful with nearby shops, markets, restaurants, and beaches. This won’t be our last time booking this property!

Our stay at this beautiful beach house was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking ocean views set the tone for an unforgettable vacation. The house itself was well decorated, blending modern elegance with island charm. The amenities were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen, nice sized bedrooms, and a private porch and balcony for relaxation. Every evening, we enjoyed our stay in the house which offered a serene retreat after a day of exploring the island. This beach house was certainly the ultimate paradise getaway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. Great location. Great view of the ocean. Lovely house. Our only struggle was that the house doesn’t have AC. There are fans but the house does get pretty warm even if you have fans running and windows open. We ended up buying another fan for the family room to help make it more comfortable. It helped a little but it wasn’t comfortable as hoped. We all agreed the house would be perfect if it had AC.
The only other thing to note is the kitchen is well stocked but if you do plan to cook, then plan to buy spices etc as they do not have anything left over from prior stays. We have stayed at a number of vacation rentals and this was the first time we confronted Ted that but otherwise kitchen had great selection for cooking needs. The roosters crowing frequently cracked me up. We enjoyed seeing the turtles and seals while they rested on the nearby beaches.
This house was perfect for our family, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The home was in great condition, with a beautiful view of the ocean.
This was a great house for 6 adults, as each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Nice places to gather as a family, inside and out. 10/10 would rent again!
The house was everything and more! Not one negative issue to note, Very comfortable home and well maintained.
