We had a wonderful time. This is a perfect location to access the many things to do on the island. And staying at the complex pool for the day was so easy and lovely. Very nice to have food and bar accommodations at the complex pool. We would definitely come back!
The home and it's location were perfect for our getaway. We also were treated with whales breaching while enjoying lunch on the lanai! We will definitely try to rebook if/when we return to the Big Island. Mahalo!
We had a wonderful view of the ocean! Beds are extremely comfortable. The clubhouse had a wonderful pool, workout space and Restaurant. However, the condo needs more coffee cups and a cookie sheet though.
This spacious, well-appointed condo was a wonderful home base for our Big Island visit. We enjoyed the resort pool, work out facilities and dining options when we were back at the condo. The views from the back patio were wonderful and we spent considerable time there. Kitchen is very well-stocked for cooking in. Would definitely return.
Beautiful view from a spacious lanai for a condo. Good floor plan for couples and family. Close to Ocean Club pool and restaurant which has decent food, drinks, and prices. Appreciate BBQ and beach gear.
Location beautiful, gated area. Offers amazing views. Kitchen, dining, bedroom, and bath were as pictured. Privacy on corner lot location. Walking short to ocean pool area and restaurant. Amazing views there. Golf course looks spectacular...husband and daughter played 18. Great course. Will return with all of family soon..
Amazing views, wonderful proximity to the pool, shopping and restaurants. We loved staying here and hope to be back again soon!
The unit and the property are both lovely—plenty of space right next to the water with beautiful views.
We had a wonderful stay at Halii Kai. Our condo was comfortable with a well stocked kitchen (additional silverware would be helpful), plenty of towels, board games, beach toys, tennis racquets, snorkel gear and more. The view of the ocean was beautiful from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Our adult children were able to snorkel right in front of our condo. We enjoyed the pool, restaurant, gym and pickleball court. We were able to watch sunrise by taking a short walk up fisherman’s trail and sunset from the lanai. Sunset was especially beautiful from the pool. Fisherman’s trail is also in front of the condo and throughout our stay we walked from A-Bay to Mauna Lani- the views are breathtaking. We’ve been to Hawaii many times and it never disappoints.
Great view! Nice area. The facilities (pool, gym, restaurant) are an added bonus. We also were able to use some of the beach toys and chairs that were provided.
Stayed with my parents who had the main bedroom with the ocean view. My partner and I slept in the second bedroom with a queen bed . The room was so small there was no room for a dresser. I could’ve forgiven that if the mattress was comfortable, but it was old and loud and bowed in the middle, definitely in need of replacing. Otherwise, the location was amazing. You can see whales spouting on the ocean from your condo. However it was a real disappointment that there were no binoculars in the house. It also lacked any guidebook or helpful binder of nearby places to eat. Location is beautiful place has what you need but lack some basic amenities and needs updating.
I can’t say enough good words about this property!!! Location was SO quiet. The unbelievable ocean view is better than advertised. We, in fact, spent every single morning sipping coffee and watching whales! We repeated that with wine and dinner in the afternoons and evenings as well - just fantastic!!! There is everything needed to cook if so inclined. We did, and found it easy. We enjoyed the pool as well, but get there early as the chairs go fast! Only issue - the tile floors needed a good scrubbing. Thanks for hosting us we will definitely love to stay here again!!!
