Hale Mahana Kai was a magnificent home during our vacation to Kaua'i. The home has everything that you need and then some and the location is absolutely beautiful! We watched sea turtles from the lanai every day and you can get much closer to the water than this home is. The location is prime for these reasons: it on the sunny south side, it's a 10 minute walk to Kukui'ula Harbor Beach which is awesome for snorkeling, swimming, and sunsets, it's a 5 minute walk to spouting horn, 2 minute walk to McBryde Gardens, 8 minute drive to Poipu Beach to see sea turtles, and close to many restaurants and stores. The home had so many amenities from beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, blender, grill, laundry, etc. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom was great. The home was spotless upon arrival and was 100% as it is represented online. The Parrish Collection staff communicated thoroughly throughout the booking processes, prior to arrival, and during the stay. They were flexible and allowed us to check out 2 hours late which made a big difference to our family. I highly recommend this property and the Parrish Collection for your stay!
The home was just wonderful! Super clean, right on the water and all bedrooms had AC which was perfect:) We would definitely say again:)
Our home away from home was just prefect! The location of this property was so close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Being lulled to sleep every night listening to the waves was so calming. None of us wanted to leave.

We loved our stay at this home in Kauai and can'r wait to return. The home has everything you need..so no need to pack too much. We stayed as a family and loved visiting the gardens and nearby beaches. Everything was great!
We had a wonderful time sharing Kauai with our family and enjoyed coming home to Hale Mahana Kai each day... Such a lovely home with all the amenities we look for in a vacation home...

Beautiful view, and location is pretty good. Pretty quiet location as you are near the end of the road and only have a couple neighbours. Road has some traffic. There was construction next door one day, but then they didn't show up the rest of the week - not sure what they are doing or if they will be building a house.
The house was very well equipped, lots of kitchen tools if you want to cook, and a fun ring game on the deck that is good for all ages. Views from 2 of the upstairs bedrooms are fantastic. The 3rd bedroom has a small kitchen and sitting area which would be good if you had a teen.
The roosters do get up early in the morning but I suspect this is the case most places on Kauai, if the AC is running or the waves are pounding they are possible to sleep through.
The management company was easy to get ahold of and replaced one of the ACs very quickly when it wasn't producing.
If you have small children the only risks are the road and the wall from the garden, but these are manageable.
Not having AC in the living room might be an issue if the weather was hotter, but we were fine, and the house is set up to carry a breeze right through it, and being right on the water there is often a breeze.
We would definitely return here.

This is an amazing property with happy vibes. The layout is perfect with a spacious open living space for everyone in the ground floor. The best thing apart from the location is the air conditioning in each bedroom. That truly was heaven sent. Very unusual for a Hawaii property. The location is perfect. Out of the way but close to major amenities. Very quiet location. The lanai is perfect for tea or coffee. Parrish Kauai were extremely efficient and professional with great communication from beginning to end. The house is very well stocked with kitchenware, towels as well as beach toys. Did not use the bbq. Wifi is fast on the ground floor, drops a little upstairs. Another amazing Hawaii property.
