Property Description

Hale Kamaole is just a short walk from the Kamaole Beach III, where milder tides, full facilities and a lifeguard post makes for a low stress family atmosphere. Kamaole III is one of Maui’s favorite beaches and is great for snorkeling, a morning swim and postcard sunsets. The bedroom has a king size bed and a wall unit air conditioner. There is a queen sleeper in the living room. A washer and dryer are located in the unit! The bathroom’s walk in shower has a built in seat and grab bars for safety plus dual sinks. The kitchen has lots of cooking equipment! Spend the afternoon at one of the two pools in the complex or play some tennis on the complex’s court. Socialize with other vacationers while grilling on one of two poolside BBQ stations as the day fades. The condo is in walking distance to some of Kihei’s shops and restaurants. World class golf courses are just minutes away in Wailea.

Very nice resort excellent location close to beaches. Kitchen is well stocked; needs new knives and frying pan. Moisture around toilet floor area may need a new wax seal. Too many rules at the pool would be nice for one pool to allow floating toys. Lounge chair on patio is needed. I recommend this condo as a good 3-4 star.

This was our first trip to Maui and we could not have been more pleased. The unit was well stocked and accommodated our family well. We loved the charcoal barbecues and marvelled everyday at how well the complex was maintained. We enjoyed swimming at Kamaole III, sitting on the grass at sunset, and drinking lava flows at the South Shore Tiki Lounge. We would book at Hale Kamaole again in a heartbeat.

The unit 117 was terrible. Mold in the shower furniture so old it smelled. Shower door wouldn’t close. Two ladies in the office said they would try and check us in early at 2:30 and to call. Called at 2:30 and 3:00 told unit not cleaned. Tried the code got in cleaned Ladies didn’t check very lazy

Perfect home base for our getaway - central to just about the whole island, walkable to beach, and also well stocked and lovely to relax in.
