No surprises, all went well.
The view from the lanai, access to the beach and access to so many amenities was perfect! Also, had an extra perk from the front door to watch the lunar eclipse.
We were contacted by the rental agency to tell us the place was not updated, giving us the opportunity to cancel. We went ahead and stayed there but let the buyer beware. The place was definitely not updated and not cared for at all. it was like a 70s motel, not particularly clean and really unloved. The general property outside was great as was the view and beach. tWe would not recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the ocean view from our 3rd floor lanai, watching whales. Evening turtle visits were a short walk down the beach. This was our second year in a row at this unit. The condo building manager was very attentive, and the other tenants were super social.
The views from this condo are amazing! Absolutely stunning with a great beach to walk on, snorkeling and swimming were fantastic. The condo is dated and needs some TLC however the view more than made up for it. The bathroom needs some upkeep but not a deterrent at least not for us. We've stayed in many VRBO's and this one was not stocked so be prepared for that. Usually there are left over spices, etc from other guests but there were none and not even Tupperware to put leftovers in. The very basic necessities of pots, pans, etc were all there though and it was the perfect kitchen to cook what ever you wanted. I would recommend this condo to anyone and would stay again!

This is a beautiful location with beach front and gorgeous sunsets. It was clean, well maintained and convenient.
Customer service is top notch. Super friendly and kind. The condo is as advertised. Very dated but the location, view, and distance to the water is unbeatable. The beach was almost private and there were so many sea turtles and ocean life to view. We literally swam with turtles. The neighborhood was great too. The grounds are well kept and they have security that patrols the grounds and keeps the peace. It is quiet and really gives that peaceful vibe. I would 100% stay here again. But it is very dated and a bathtub replacement is needed but everything worked and the water pressure was strong.

The owners of this unit should be required to fix it up. Walls are bashed and in need of fresh paint, furniture is old and outdated and kitchen supplies are of the cheapest quality. The bathroom is in its original (60 year old??) condition and needs a renovation. We would stay at this condominium complex again but definitely not at this unit. Our friends stayed in another unit in the complex and it was lovely.
We enjoyed 8 days watching the whales, turtles and sunsets right from the Lanai. This property has beautiful relaxing views from the 3rd floor, hard to leave here it was so peaceful! We enjoyed walking the beach daily and just relaxing. Located within walking distance to great restaurants and grocery store, not even a 1/2 block. Very comfy bed and pillows. It has a well stocked kitchen. Nice umbrella, beach chairs and couple of beach towels came in handy. Bring your water shoes or Walmart is 20 min. away. We donated a pair of binoculars for guest to enjoy whale and turtle watching. Green sea turtles come up on the beach each day and spend nights just down the beach toward the bay. We would definitely stay here again. Good responsive communication with management, thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay in this 3rd floor unit. Our priority in lodging is a real Ocean Front view, and it was the best we have ever had. The location was very convenient to Kihei restaurants, grocery store, beaches, and turtle watching. We saw many whales from our lanai. We actually slept on the sofa bed to enjoy the view and the sound of the surf. The furnishings were more than adequate. AA Oceanfront Rentals were great to deal with, and kept in touch to make sure we were happy.
This is a perfect low-key condo on the beach. It hasn't been updated in decades, but they are very clear about that up front, so if that doesn't bother you, you'll love it. There's tons of space compared to a hotel room at the same price, so you can spread out a little. The people were very nice to deal with. The beach is beautiful and the water is fairly calm, and Kihei is a nice little town with good food very close by.
