Perfect location in Paradise!
Beautiful house and beach. Access is central to all the good stuff Kaua’i has to offer. By far our best trip to the islands because the house and private beach are so amazing.

This was our first trip to Kauai and we were blown away! This was the cutest little house with the PERFECT sunset views. Baby Beach is great for snorkeling or just hanging out reading a book. Very quiet and private! The house was FULLY stocked and clean. Absolutely no complaints at all!

The home was as picturesque as advertised. Homely, serene and beautiful. What wasn't mentioned in any detail is that one cannot go swimming or even wading as this particular beach. Rocks that appeared ankle deep kept one out of the water. Communication with property management could be improved.
I've never stayed at a place with such an amazing location. It was expensive and worth every penny. Not only are you on the beach in a quieter area of the south shore, but can easily walk to the market or shops for anything you need or dinner. Yoga on the lawn, sea turtle on the beach daily. Just a lovely place overall for a dream vacation. Bed, couch and other furniture could be more comfortable, but the sound of the ocean helps drown out those minor things.
This wonderful beach house was perfect for our family of four. We spent hours on the lanai, staring at the ocean, and even more hours a few feet down on the beach. The photos are great, but do not even do it justice. It is just beautiful there. The home was very comfortable, well equipped and extremely well managed, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for an outstanding stay!
The view from every room in the house is spectacular. The proximity to the water/beach is unbelievable. The long lanai is perfect for hanging out, with plenty of outdoor furniture (table, chairs, chaise lounges), and beach gear. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked. We rather enjoyed the resident chickens with their wake up calls. There are only two things that marred an otherwise perfect stay: 1) the house has only 4 beach towels and the management indicated that it is the limit after we asked for more. So, if you have a beach day, go to dinner and have a boat/scuba type tour where you need towels early next morning, it is a little stressful to have to remember to squeeze in laundry (on vacation, and they have a no washer/dryer policy after 10PM). 2) I got eaten alive our last night of our stay during the night- approximately 20+ bites, and by the pattern of the bites, it seemed to be bedbugs. I told the management and they responded with concern, indicating that they would have maintenance check it out. We had two sightings of waterbugs/roaches but I know that it isn't all that unusual so close to the water. Prior to and at the time of check-in, I inquired about a mid-stay cleaning service that I could pay for, but the management never got back to me.

The location of Hale Kai is unbeatable: a quiet stretch of a little beach with mostly gentle surf and awesome sunset views. The bedrooms were large and comfortable each with a bathroom and access to a large lanai. The kitchen was fully equipped with new appliances and all the dishes and cutlery you will ever need. Large Washer and Dryer appear new and can handle full loads (plenty of detergent was provided) if you need it. It's also right down the road from a nice shopping center with restaurants, shops and a Longs Drug store. We loved staying here! It was the 3rd time we stayed at Baby Beach (Hale Ohe and Stonehouse previously). GIR staff were great - checking in often to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. Was it slick and fancy? Not really. Was it comfortable with a solid Hawaiian vibe? Yes!
This was such a peaceful bungalow with the ocean as your front yard. Everything was wonderful, we would definitely come back to this place again. There is A/C in each bedroom and in the main room but we only used the one in the bedroom and enjoyed the breezes coming off the ocean. We saw a giant green sea turtle come up on the beach right in front of the house one day but I would not say this is a great spot to snorkel out front but is still a great beach and a perfect area for little babes to play in the water. Here is a strange, albeit important point for those of you who the bugs love - every time we go anywhere, I am covered in bug bites while my husband is completely unscathed but not the case here! I didn’t have to use bug spray one time, there was just enough breeze to keep them at bay. Made my week! Mahalo for an amazing stay.

Perfect place for our family vacation. We have small kids so the convenience to the beach and the big grassy backyard was perfect for them! Place was beautiful, clean, and communication with the hosts was great! Location was also great, walkable to the stores and restaurants! We will definitely be coming back!

Sigh inducing. The lanai was an oasis, the bungalow was perfectly retro, yet modernized and so comfortable. Excellent layout, the kitchen was super functional and well kitted. Minor quibble would be that some beach goers use the lawn for beach access.

This house couldn’t be in a more perfect setting—views are unobstructed perfection. A comfortable home with everything that you could possibly need. Service is practically instant. Place is lovely. You can t go wrong.
