The house is very nice, in a great location within a peaceful quiet neighborhood. The downstairs portion of the home can be kept nice and comfortable. The upstairs bedroom will need some heat management (running the fans to keep it cool). The house worked out perfectly for our adventures - close to beaches, Hanalei (great Shave Ice @ Wishing Well) and hiking.
The house was very roomy and spacious. Great location! We definitely enjoyed the lanai.
This property needs some maintenance. Light bulbs are out all over this house, BBQ was very dirty, 2deck chairs are broken, kitchen blinds don’t work, upstairs sink drains very slow, all dishes had to be washed before using, more plates are needed,window by the front door is cracked,and there no air conditioning except the downstairs bedrooms!!!
Ok we'll do the bad first. Window by front door is cracked at the bottom. Few light switches that dont turn anything on. Could not turn ceiling fan on in the kitchen. There is a chair in the breakfast nook that will fall apart if you touch it. Wifi did not work. There was a rotten orange in the fridge. Cleaners need to clean the ice maker. Grimy stuff on the bottom tray. They did provide body wash. But the bottles in all 3 bathrooms were empty. .
Beautiful spacious property, fantastic neighborhood. So quiet and serene! I wish I could give it a full 5 stars but when we got there I found lots of small crumbs and sand on the ground in the master bedroom and bath. There was also what appeared to be mouse poop on the dresser in the loft, all around the fireplace, and in and around the tracks of all the sliding glass doors. I understand there are a lot of pests on islands like Kaua’i, but we never saw any while we were there. This just tells me the property is not cleaned as thoroughly as needed. One other problem we encountered is that during the rains we had, the kitchen and master bedroom ceilings had leaks. The property management company was quick to respond to my initial call and had someone out within an hour which was fantastic! But the leaks were significant and they told us someone would be back out to fix it (this was the first day of our week long stay) and nobody ever came or contacted us again. So we just had to live with a pot and towel on the floor in the center of the kitchen. Overall fantastic place to stay, but needs more thorough cleaning and roof repair.
Great home, quiet, great neighborhood
There was much to love about this home. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood on the golf course. The deck overlooking the 11th tee box became our favorite gathering spot. The weather was perfect, occasional rain, cool breezes and people watching. The bed was comfortable with fresh bedding. The only negative was the exterior garbage can was full and we did not find the note asking us to place the garbage at the curb until after the fact. We would definitely book this house again. Thanks for a great family vacation.
We had a great time staying at this property! It was clean and the beds were all comfortable. It has a beautiful view of the golf course too. The property manager was easy to communicate with over text and phone call. They brought over some beach towels right away for us and were quick to get back to us. Definitely would stay here again!
We had a great stay, room for 8 adults, lovely location on the golf course. We enjoyed many dinners in and used the kitchen and dining areas (indoor and outdoor) to spend time together and keep our costs down. Bedrooms have A/C. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!
This was a great place to stay. It was very close to everything we wanted to do on the island.
Great neighborhood and well maintained. My only complaint, which didn't even bring it down a star was that sound carries very well in the building. There were multiple couples staying in the home so if anyone wanted to stay up after anyone went to bed it was necessary to stay quiet. On the other hand. Because it was so open, air flowed consistently throughout the house and the house stayed very comfortable.
