This is a lovely place to explore Kauai (especially North Shore), we had a great time staying here. Perfect location for a quick access to all of our favorite spots (Tunnels beach, Hanalei food trucks, Kilauea food spots, Anini Beach, Kalihiwai Beach, etc.). Wi-Fi was great, and we really needed it for a remote work and random conference calls. And we loved a little jungle view at the backyard of the property (btw, avocados are just delicious!). We had a few minor issues with putting our baby to sleep at the condo, but I must say, this is definitely our personal issues, not a property fault - our LO is noise sensitive, and the squeaky floors didn't help with her sleep, and the condo gets really hot in the afternoon, but we somehow managed with fans available at the place or ended up sleeping at the beach. So this part might be something to keep in mind while traveling with small kids. But overall the place is definitely a gem, highly recommended!
We loved the location being away from big resorts and yet somewhat a part of it all! So perfect! We had researched our hiking and beach trip a lot and the condo was lovely for all our mud and sand and sun adventures! It is pin-drop quiet at night and the fans’ white noise was essential for lulling us to sleep in blissful coolness. We named and became acquainted with a few special chickens (Old Broken Tail) and cats (Lioness) and chameleons (Rainbow and Gunter)! Our host, Kristina, was so sweet and generous with special touches! It really was homey and we threatened to never leave! Sunrise/rainbow yoga is a must! We have thousands of pictures and wonderful memories from all corners of this beautiful island, Kauai! We will definitely touch base again! Aloha! Thank you Kristina! Mahalo & Namaste!

Everything was perfect! Well appointed condo near Princeville and Hanalei in a residential area . Small lanai looks over a jungle so lovely bird song every morning . Liked walking down to the river at Hanalei bay several mornings . Nice to have beach gear so we didn’t have to buy or rent. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath are upstairs . Comfortable beds and pillows . Nice fans in all rooms . Good communication . Hope to stay here again .

Very responsive host, easy check in and out, beautiful scenery in back full of lush plants and trees. Looking at pictures with this listing, I thought we were getting a view of bay below but that was not the case. A little misleading but, overall, great stay.

Their home is tucked away in a nice spot. Its convenient to the main road, and just far enough the lights wont bother you that you can walk around the parking lot and see the stars at night. You drive down the street and you get an amazing view of the bay (and nice spot to see stars if going late at night, few cars). The parking was also right in front - so convenient! Also next to the princeville shopping center and the best breakfast / lunch food truck is literally just down the street behind the urgent care and fire station, you can walk there given how close they all are.The host was super responsive, very helpful and very nice. We had a great time staying here. They also provide so many supplies that you will be left with a pleasant surprise on arrival. Plenty of tabs for laundry and dishes, very clean and everything you wish the other "resorts" did a better job with. Highly recommend you stop comparing, I honestly do not think we could have found a better place even though other places has nice pictures too.
Everything was perfect. Easy to book, easy to find, lovely basket of goodies, quiet sleeps with just enough rooster to make me smile. Awesome location for north shore adventures.
We had such a great time visiting the North Shore and staying at Kristina’s property. It started out great with her quick responses when I had questions before booking and along the way leading up to our stay. We were welcomed with cute gifts and the place was perfect for what we needed. The location was great and the community was very quiet. There was an avocado tree out back that my husband would go out every morning and collect fresh avocados for our breakfast. I would definitely recommend this spot!
The property is located in an ideal part of the north shore with easy access to many adventures in and around both Hanalei and Princeville and over to many of the beaches on the northern coast. We loved everything about this place from its location to the modern layout with splendid wooden floors, kitchen and living space to the lanai out back providing a place of serenity (including the avocado tree)! The host was very responsive and made checkin in/out a breeze. We were very sad to leave (it’s that good)! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a little piece of heaven on Kauai’s north shore. Next time we come back we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and two kids stayed here for 9 days . The condo was perfect for us . We loved the layout and it was just the right size. We took advantage of the kitchen a lot as we ate many meals at home . The location was perfect for taking many day trips but also they were so many beaches near by to go to . We would definitely come back . Thank you
We truly enjoyed our stay. Nice new condo with plenty of windows to capture the Trades, and lots of fans. The kitchen is well appointed. The host, Kristina, went out of her way to make sure we could drop off perishables before check-in time, and to help me access a prescription sent to her mailbox. Dining room chairs felt uncomfortable and the lanais are just narrow covered entries. The property is beautifully landscaped, well maintained and quiet. Parking for Unit 2B is right beside the front entry.

We had a great stay here. The place was very clean and communication with Kristina was very easy.
We had such a wonderful time at this property. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect (Anini beach and Hideaway beach are just a few minutes away). The patio is so cute and we loved having our morning coffee there. The host was very nice and responded to all our messages and queries. We regret not staying longer. Next time we will make sure to book a much longer stay. Until next time Kauai! Mahalo :)
What an excellent stay! Great amenities including everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach. Beautiful and relaxing environment, and conveniently located near Princeville shopping/golf, and Hanalei Bay. I've never felt so much at home like I did here.

The location is quaint, quiet, cozy, and close to everything (food trucks, hiking, beaches, amazing natural scenery, and shopping). Loved the quiet hours. The beds are very comfortable and linens are so soft. The special treats are a nice personal touch. The kitchen is well stocked. Washer and dryer are a great amenity, quiet, and worked very well.
Kristina is very communicative.
It was very warm and a bit stuffy when we first got there but it cooled off quickly and the evening trade winds are very nice and cool the house a lot. We didn’t mind not having air condition. As a matter of fact, we loved the morning and evening breeze, smelling the air and rain, hearing the birds, roosters, and rain.
I recommend either wiping down the washer door, propping the washer door open, or adding a non-bleach sanitizer (which we found at Foodland) to keep mildew scent at bay due to moisture.
We loved coming back to our Home Away From Home after daily adventures.
If your planning on staying on the North side of Kauai with family including an 18 month old. This is the place for you. The owner Kristina is on top of it. We truly felt really comfortable with this bungalow. It's near the local market and urgent care facility, not to mention the fire station is right on the corner. The hike to poo poa beach is fun. This place and scenery are spectacular.

We had the most delightful stay at this VRBO in Princeville, Kauai! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmth of Hawaiian hospitality and the sheer convenience of the location. Nestled near beautiful beaches and useful shops, it was the perfect hub for our family vacation.
The apartment itself was well-stocked, cute and clean, a priority especially when traveling with both a young daughter and a grandmother. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking our own meals a breeze, and the thoughtful provision of beach supplies saved us the hassle of renting bulky gear.
Check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to the efficient process set up by our hosts. When we had a question, they were incredibly responsive, ensuring our comfort and peace of mind throughout our stay.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This apartment truly exceeded our expectations, and we're already dreaming of our next visit. Mahalo to the hosts for sharing their slice of paradise with us!
It was a quiet and comfortable location. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of items on hand. Having beach towels, chairs, and even a cooler to use made going to the beach easy!

My husband and friend connected with my son who lives on Kauai and the location of Kristina's VRBO was close to our son's place. We enjoyed walking from the condo to the beach for morning swims, about a 20 minute walk. The modern, comfortable condo was extremely clean and well supplied with everything we needed including boogie boards and beach chairs. The kitchen was a nice sized for our family meals and had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed going to the nearby farmer's markets, beaches and hiking areas. I would definitely stay again in the future.
Our stay was excellent and the home was perfect. We cooked meals, used the chairs and umbrella on the beach, enjoyed the fresh air on the back deck. Market was supper close, Hanelei Bay was an excellent location for relaxing on the beach and took only about 5mins to drive there. The location was just wonderful and we would highly recommend to those looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay and enjoy the island from. Mahalo!!!
We were close to the golf course and the property was quiet and comfortable. It was everything we needed for a restful stay. I would book here again when the need arises.
Had a most wonderful stay at the Hale Honu. We were welcomed with thoughtful treats and gifts upon arrival. I have visited Kauai many times over the years and found this to be the perfect spot on the North shore. Close Hanalei town, Princeville and Kilauea for shopping and libations. Great path to a small beach and fab house amenities. We really enjoyed cooking and relaxing after days at the beach and hiking. The space is much more large and bright than imagined and we were so thankful for the many extras like chairs, coolers and towels. Most touching was the communication and extra TLC we received from our host when I had a lost item retrieved and delivered after our check-out. I was so grateful.

Nice cool breeze at night. Papaya & Avocado trees in back yard. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Food at Nourish on path to beach was Great. Visit to Noni organic farm was very interesting.
Lots of nice beaches in the area.
