My cousin and niece joined me for first week of my vacation, and I let them have the bed. I took the fold out couch. After they left, I didn’t move from the couch! 19 nights. It was that comfortable. A nice surprise, for sure! Very well stocked, including beach stuff Seven beach towels, leave yours at home. Some beach stuff could be replaced, but you’d get by. The security in this building is excellent. Didn’t bother me at all to be here two weeks alone. The only thing I bring up is living room drapes. They don’t cover all the windows and night light from other side of building was a bit annoying (to me). Loved my stay here and would love to return. Communication with realty co was great.
Trip to escape winter weather and that goal was definitely achieved. Temperature was ideal along with breeze from the ocean. Enjoyed constant sound of the ocean waves coming in. A little noisy at night off and on with cars speeding down street in front of condo along with their loud music. Fortunately, this was not constant. Condo had everything we needed to head to the beach. Felt very safe here.
We really enjoyed our stay in this unit at the Kona Alii. The location is great, within walking distance of all the restaurants and attractions in downtown Kona. The assigned parking spot is a big plus now that the public lots charge a fee to park. We liked to go on excursions during the day and then park the car and try a different restaurant every night.The unit itself is very comfortable with a lot of little touches that make it a great place to stay. The two bathrooms makes getting ready to go out quicker. There are plenty of hangars in the closets (great for those of us who don't pack light. The washer/drier meant we didn't have to fly home with wet bathing suits. We had a great lanai that overlooked the pool and never got too hot. We had great communication with the host before and during out stay. I sent all my Christmas cards from Kona and the very cool writing desk was a great place to write them. We will definitely stay at the this unit again.

Great location clean plenty room. Perfect
We stayed for 5 nights in this location. The afternoon we arrived, we were going to be about an hour and a half early, but we decided to drive to the condo just to see where it was located for sure. When we were about 10-15 minutes away, the rental company called to notify us it was ready early. The information was clear and made it easy to find where to enter and how to access the condo. The condo was very warm when we arrived so we turned up the AC and it was still warm. I called the management company, who was very easy to reach, and they had it repaired by the next day. There were a couple pinholes in the new AC tubing (they just installed a brand new system). We were very satisfied with the quick response and repair. Condo also had brand new luxury vinyl flooring where there had been carpet in the listing so that was a nice surprise. Great views, close walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Also 2 minute drive to a brand new Walmart and Safeway for easy grocery shopping. The pool was wonderful too. Great temperature and very clean. While we were staying there, I actually saw a cleaning/maintenance person walk around with sanitizer wiping everything down in the pool area and even going floor to floor wiping down the outside railings on along every condo. Enjoy the size and location
We arrived to dirty stained carpets that didn’t look vacuumed, holes in walls and ceilings due to AC install. After a long day of travel we turned down the bed to discover dirty sheets with a lot of hair. We stayed up until midnight doing laundry because the dryer takes 3 cycles to dry which is probably why the cleaners don’t wash the sheets. The property manager was apologetic but we had similar the year before moving bus the holes. The price goes up each year but condition goes down. Love the complex location!
It was nice having my own parking space since most of Kona’s parking lots are charging fees now. I loved the location and was able to walk to restaurants and the market for fruit. But I must say the unit really really needs some tender, loving care.

This was in the perfect location. We were only about 10 minutes from the harbor. The mall is right next to the building, so we could walk out the front door, and go coffee or dining. The only thing I can say negative, would be the living room needs one more panel of drapes. Thank you we loved our stay.
