The updated kitchen & baths are really nice. The location is great and the floor plan is perfect, but this place needs some deep cleaning. First of all, I have never seen so much clutter in a rental. There are fake plants, too much furniture, wall decor, and knick knacks everywhere so the dust collection is pretty gross. When the fans and AC are on it flies everywhere. The louvered doors throughout the unit are in desperate need of cleaning. The amount of dirt, grime, and splatters/drips on them is gross. The door of the oven was caked with dried grease and food. I couldn’t use the oven without trying to clean the food off. The lanai is hot and crowded. The unit is dark and hard to move around because there’s way too much furniture. I understand wanting to protect furniture, but the table runners on top of the dressers are gross and dirty. The slip covered couch needs cleaning (stains) and/or updating (pretty saggy) as do the beds. There’s a topper on the king, but it’s likely there because the mattress needs to be replaced. The top rack of the dishwasher is broken. There’s no remote for the ac in the living room. In order to access it manually, I had to move a table and plant because it’s so overcrowded. There’s no map of the complex so I had to wander around to find the two very small pools. All in all, my expectations for Wailea were higher, so I was disappointed. The good thing was we didn’t spend a ton of time in the unit so it didn’t really affect the fun we had.

Countless visits to Mother Maui over the last 20 years has been a gift. Many stays in Wailea as well as at The Grand Champions before, in a different unit, so knew the location was convenient. However, unit 139 sits with its patio, living room and master bedroom to the tennis courts of the tennis club. The sound of balls hitting rackets starts a little after 7am and continues to sunset. You’re not able to have a quiet morning, enjoy meals or book reading on the patio or have the sliding glass door open. In addition the condo is extremely cluttered, not clean, with a non working shower head, dryer and ice maker. Decor over load. Cabinets, drawers, bedrooms and patio are crammed with furniture, old decor and owners items. Little closet space for guests. This unit is in need of a deep cleaning. Shutter doors and furniture are filthy with buildup. Sadly our time at this condo didn’t offer a relaxing quiet vacation space. Felt like we were in a storage unit in the middle of a tennis club.
Very well appointed, neat, clean. Kitchen knives either need sharpened or a real knife sharpener (the steel in the knife block is a joke). The king mattress is starting to collapse to the outside so you roll towards the edge, just sleep in the middle. Did run into a couple of our little brown bruddahs in the bathroom but they will always come with ground floor unit bathrooms. Only thing missing was a sunny lanai and a view. Very nice place. Enjoyed our time with you!

Very wonderful time, and perfect location
This property was really great and definitely had the Hawaiian vibe. The king size bed was very comfortable, but the second bedroom beds (the two twins) weren’t the best. Sheets were very good though and overall, we would stay in this spot again.

Super cute and clean condo. Updated all throughout. Walking distance from Wailea beach. Beach supplies - chairs and towels - were very thoughtful to be included! The complex is very lush and green, with tennis courts and swimming pools. The whole checkin/chekout process was seamless and smooth. We really enjoyed it and hope to come back again soon
