The condo was perfect for my large family of six. It was very clean upon our arrival and it had everything we needed functionally. The view from the large deck was very nice. The host was very responsive via text the few times I reached out. The only hiccup was that the condo was mislabeled in the parking space so when we showed up late at night in the dark we couldn’t find it. The property needs to remedy the parking labelling.
We had a fantastic time. The place was spacious and fit our needs. The place was exactly how it was described in the listing. One of the bedrooms did not have air conditioning – keep that in mind during the hot days.
The property has a good amount of common space for large groups and had air conditioning but not in every room or space. There was limited essential cooking equipment but otherwise plenty of good beach gear. Not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs.
We had a great time here. Even though it was a little dated it was clean and comfortable. The vaulted ceiling made it feel extra spacious. The patio was perfect for drinking a cup of coffee in the morning and downing a few beers in the evening while chatting with each other. The girls loved that it was so close to the shopping in Wailea. We’ll definitely come back.
My wife and I stayed at this condo with 2 other couples, and we had a great time! Really nice views of the ocean from the lanai and its right off of hole #2 of the Wailea Blue course. The condo is in a great location that is walking distance from the Wailea shops. Its a bit further to walk to the beach so we ended up driving more often. We didn't end up cooking much at the unit, and we were careful about leaving food out so we didn't have any ant issues like other reviews. There were 6 beach chairs which was a nice touch to have. Overall we really liked the condo & location and would stay there again.
Everything was very nice except we were not happy with the problem we were having with fire ants. We understand it’s a tropical place. We understand that there will be bugs, but we had an alarming amount of fire ants, and as a matter of fact, my two daughters and two son-in-law‘s got bit by them because they were coming in from the kitchen door and the bedrooms they were staying in were right there and unfortunately they were getting bit by them. So That left a very bad taste in our mouth unfortunately. And for that reason, I don’t think we would stay here again. I took pictures of how many ants there were. We had to spray ant spray and it didn’t even help that much.
We loved watching the sun set from the porch. Everything was clean. The condo also catered to many age groups. It had most beach stuff you would need, toys, games, hangers, and laundry on patio. Very easy walk to the pool and hot tub area
This was the perfect place to spend the week. I highly recommend this location to travelers.
Excellent location close to beaches and top shelf shopping. Beautiful views from our second floor deck. A/C very efficient and our parking slot was 10-15 yards from the stairs to our unit. Quiet neighborhood and only 12-15 miles from airport.

Overall, my group of six 30+ adults was very happy with GC #170 and would stay again!
The location was *perfect*; the beaches close to us (Wailea Beach in particular) had that perfect soft sand, clear water, gentle tides, etc. that you want in a beach. We also saw sea turtles every time we went down there! The provided beach chairs from GC #170 were in good condition and comfortable.
There are also a couple of shopping centers close by, which had coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It felt very safe to walk to any of these places, including in the early morning and evening.
In relation to the rest of the island - it took about 10 minutes to get to Kihei, 30 to Kahului, and 45 minutes to Lahaina, and 25 minutes to the Ma'alaea harbor.
For the actual condo, it is a bit tired and could use a few more updates, but as a place to sleep, play games, and occasionally eat, it was perfect. Plenty of seats for everyone to comfortably sit. Window AC units were in every room except the twin room, which was my friend's only complaint. A provided plug-in AC unit (like a Dyson) would be an easy fix to that issue. All six of us thought the beds were comfy, and there is a new kitchen counter (granite) as well which was nice for cooking. I really enjoyed eating breakfast out on the lanai every morning.
The pools in the complex were on the small side, but never crowded or hard to find a chair. Overall the complex was very quiet, had relaxing energy, and was beautifully landscaped.

We just completed a stay at your property. We were extremely disappointed and upset when we arrived and the bdrm closest to the master bdrm did not have any AC. It had a very strong mildew smell which we think you know as there were air fresheners on the mirror. The description under amenities says 'Air Conditioning' which is misleading. I think you should say 'Partial AC' because the phrase about the 'pleasant mountain breezes' really gets lost. We got in touch with the mgmt company asap but they were not able to get us a portable unit until the next day. Unacceptable... The unit was sufficient however there are only 2 towel racks in the bathroom for 2 bdrms. The toilet in the main bath has a broken seat and makes a terrible noise until it completely fills. The tub was rusting around the drain control and the shower curtain rod is rusted. The exhaust fan was also extremely loud. The view from the Master Lanai is greatly overrated in the description and there are no chairs to sit on even if you wanted to. The dishwasher seems to be a little worse for the wear as well and would only run for us on Econ wash and was extremely hard to close. Some of the dishes in the cabinets had to be washed before using as they were dirty. The bdrm nearest the kitchen is sorely lacking drawer storage. The desk does not really offer much. The lack of any nightstand was difficult. All air conditioners were very loud and made it hard to sleep. I would not rent this unit again.
