We had the most wonderful stay! House was very clean, and location was unbeatable! Rex and Judy were incredibly communicative and accommodating during our entire visit. The kitchen is well stocked, and they even stocked paper products (toilet paper/paper towels) which was a huge bonus! My kids are already begging to come back next year ☺️ thank you for making our first time in Hawaii as a family truly magical! Mahalo!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home! It made our trip to Hawaii even better than if we would have stayed at a resort. Everyone had their own space, we were close to everything, we made use of the kitchen, pool, hot tub and there was plenty to do at the house. Aloha, We had a wonderful stay at Black Point and made many new memories! The home was well appointed with kitchen appliances/gadgets. Good room sizes and bathroom amenities. Plenty of community and private spaces for our family. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool, weight room, and daily ping pong table and billiard competitions. The table top gas grill was convenient for lunch and dinner grilling. Quick walk to Cromwell's Beach. Easy access to Hwy H1 for day trips on the island. Management team was responsive to inquiries and offered a nice check-in tour. The rental manual was helpful with restaurant and tourist site activities. Great accommodations and hospitality. Mahalo!
This house was amazing. Perfect for our large family. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out as well as large dining and living areas for activities together. We used the pool and hot tub daily. Hosts were very quick with responses to any questions and very accommodating. The house is in perfect location. Only 15 minutes from Waikiki and 5 minutes from diamond head. I never wanted to leave!

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii. The house is grand and spacious. The pool is relaxing and the gardens are beautiful. The location is ideal. You are close to great shops and restaurants but far away enough from the crowds in Waikiki to relax. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I, including our 3 kids, greatly enjoyed our Kahala vacation. The home is very comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. My kids loved the outdoor pool that is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. My brother and his daughter joined us for part of our 2 week stay. The dining table was large enough to accommodate my family and my brother’s family easily. My extended Hawaiian family came to the home to spend time with us. They all loved the home too. Rex and Judy were very helpful.
Kahala is a quiet upscale neighborhood that is conveniently located to Kahala Mall (including Times supermarket, Whole Foods, Long’s), Waikiki (parasailed), Ala Moana (nice sunsets) and Diamond Head (hike), visited Kahala Resort. Hawaiian Style Cooking Class is 4 blocks away and was a lot of fun. We visited USS Arizona, Dole Plantation, fished in the North Shore, snorkeled in Hanauma Bay and did an UTV tour at Kuoloa Ranch. We also had professional pictures taken on the beach near Kahala Resort.
Impressive tall ceilings in walkway (great carpeted area there for doing yoga), comfortable beds, beautiful and deep pool, hot tub with good jets, well stocked kitchen, great for cooking, large dining table and large patio table perfect for eating together. My seven and nine year old loved jumping into the pool, spent hours a day doing that. We walked to Diamond Head, Kapiolani College Farmers market on Sat mornings for fresh fruits and yummy hot food, walked to a Hawaiian Style cooking class (highly recommend), walked to the nearby beach for walks. Close driving distance to Whole Foods, which had an amazing deli, Kahala Mall (Gomatei for ramen, Magnolia for art, arcade), and Hanauma Bay (we got there before 7a and got in for free all day). High capacity washer and dryer (very nice that they supplied detergent), high end kitchen appliances, we cooked breakfast almost every day. Made barbecue filet mignon one day. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Management was very responsive and nice and easy to work with. Great showers. Kids loved the outdoor shower by the pool which had shampoo and soap. Lots of towels for showering and beach activity.

We stayed in this beautiful house, family of four with two teenagers, for 9 days. The house is large and very convenient, especially the outdoor area and the pool were wonderful. The house has lots of amenities, just as described and shown on the Homeaway site. Except a toaster and a water kettle, but we bought that at the Walmart, no problem! Our boys loved the table tennis in the garage!
The location of the house is more than perfect! In a beautiful residential area. Just around the corner there is a sand white beach. Waikiki is a 5 minute drive. We even walked one morning to Waikiki. The Diamond Head crater is nearby and worth visiting. We loved Oahu, Hawaii! It is a pity that it is on the other side of the world for us (we live in Europe, Holland) or else we came back soon to this gorgeous house!
Our extended family loved our Oahu vacation. The house was great. We spent lots of time in and by the wonderful pool and hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living and dining areas were spacious. The beds were comfortable. And the bathrooms were clean. The owner promptly answered all our questions in the few weeks before our vacation. The owner's mother kindly met us at the house when we arrived and showed us around. The owner left a clear set of instructions and local tips. And the location is perfect. You can quickly and easily get to Waikiki and downtown. Kahala Mall is also very close. And if you want to hike up Diamond Head, it's right there.
We have traveled to Hawaii many times and have now stayed in 5 rental houses on the North Shore, Lanikai, and Kailua (before renting houses we used to stay at Turtle Bay). This house was one of our favorites. Importantly, the house and amenities were exactly as described and shown in the pictures. There were no surprises. It is a high quality home in a very nice residential area. Nice touches throughout that reflect the local culture. There is plenty of space inside so that all of our guests could spread out for alone time to decompress. It was also nice that the home is big enough that when the kids went to bed the adults could stay up and visit without worrying about waking up anyone who was sleeping. We had 4 adults and 5 kids in our party and there was plenty of room. All of the bedrooms have air conditioners for sleeping, and during the day there is central air conditioning in the kitchen and living spaces--this made it very nice. The master walk-in closet also had air conditioning separate from the master bedroom air conditioner, which made it perfect for our baby to sleep in because it was cool and quiet (we brought our own portable crib). The pool and outdoor area were also wonderful--the kids (and adults) spent hours every day in the pool. We also spent time all over the island and found the location to be great. We would return to this house.
