We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The location was absolutely perfect—just minutes from Kihei town and steps away from the beach. Waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning was truly magical. The place itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot in Maui and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Love the Hale Kamaole complex and location. Room 258 needs some TLC. Carpets were dirty there were lumps under the carpet and there were dead cockroaches on the kitchen floor. The amenities in the room were lacking. I have stayed at other units that were much better. This unit should be charging less money than other units of the same size.

Location was amazing! Close to everything. I would book again in this complex but not this unit.I knew the unit was dated which I was ok with when I booked it; however, it was dirty. I noticed very dirty doors (around the door knobs) and the walls (close to the light switches were not clean). It was clear, those areas weren't cleaned in a very long time. I ended up cleaning them when we got there. I noticed the walls around the garbage bins were not cleaned (the ones in the bathroom and bedrooms). There was dried blood on the dresser in the primary bedroom. The carpets are showing their signs of wear and tear and were dirty. The bath and kitchen linens have stains on them. The side of the fridge and the wall behind the stove were dirty. The curtains to the patio had stains on them. Even the chair and couch had stains on them. It is clear that the cleaning crew does a quick clean. If you do rent them, please note there is no cookie sheet, no oven mitts and the knives are extremely dull. The kitchen table only has 3 chairs so we had to bring in patio chairs from outside so we can all sit together. Considering the unit can sleep 6-8, you would think the table would have more seating for the main table.

This was our second stay in Unit 258 and our fourth in the Hale Kamaole complex. We love the location across from Kamaole Beach 3, the two pools, and the extensive green space on the property. It was also great to have restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The complex has a variety of options - one bedroom, two bedrooms, two bedrooms with a loft that can sleep up to 8 people. The beds in 258 were all very comfortable. Maintenance staff were available on site and responded quickly to any concerns,

We have rented many condos from Hale Kamaole over the years, and this unit didn’t disappoint! It was clean, lots of towels and kitchen supplies. The beds are a bit soft for our liking, but that’s personal preference. The view is a bit obstructed, but you can see that from the pictures (and was still able to see the ocean and whales 😊)We would definitely stay here again.
Beach is a few steps away. 2nd floor awesome, didn’t flood, neighbors on first did.

This condo was perfect. Plenty of space, although we mostly only showered, slept, and ate breakfast here. The location was really convenient. Right across the road from Kam III Beach. Next to the Kehei Boat Ramp. Easy to get to the airport. Shopping nearby. There is an outdoor shower on the corner of the property that was VERY convenient. The condo itself had plenty of space with AC units we could turn on if we go too warm or ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Kitchen was fully equipped. Layout worked perfectly for our family. I would 100% stay here again.

My wife and I took our Grandkids to Maui in August and stayed at this property. We had a great time and the accommodations added to the experience. We were able to use the loft as a third bedroom which worked out well. The unit also had lots of extras (coolers, masks, etc) which was appreciated. Being directly across from Kam 3 was very handy.
Great location and the layout was good. The extra beach gear was appreciated.
