We loved the location of the condo—very convenient—and the view over Waikiki was beautiful. The condo is large and well laid out with a very comfy bed.
The minute we arrived, I knew we made the best decision choosing this rental. We stayed July 2024 for 30 nights and had the most memorable vacation.
Location is the best- across the street from the our favorite stretch of beach in Waikiki, Kuhio. If you surf, this location can’t be beat. The pool is the best in Waikiki. It’s saltwater and brand new with a large jacuzzi, always an open lounge chair, super clean, ocean and city views. The unit itself is a corner unit with plenty of windows, large for Waikiki with tons of closet space. Decor is iconic Waikiki style with rattan and mauve accents. It’s older and we liked the charm. The view is phenomenal- you can see the surf break, sunset and hotel strip from all the big windows. The lanai is enclosed but has a patio feel with comfortable furniture for naps and reading. The unit has two ice cold ac units. We cooked in the kitchen daily- full size appliances and plenty of dishes and utensils made it easy to make meals.
We loved being a part of the foster tower community. We met several long term residents and condo owners and they were all so friendly and loved living there. The security guards at the front were kind and fun to chat with too.
If you’re like us and want to avoid the big hotels but require the best location, beach access, pool, kitchen, laundry, parking included, safe, clean, and ample size, this is the best unit and the fact that it’s priced right makes it a win! So much gratitude for our month in paradise!
Great location but kitchen area could use some improvement
The location for this condo is excellent! Across the street from the beach, and within walking distance to everything in Waikiki!
This is an older building, but well maintained! The lobby guards were all very helpful! The pool is open and beautiful!
The unit is well stocked with everything we needed. Again, it's older and could do with kitchen and bath upgrades. But the location makes it worth it!
Mildew and mold smell from the moment you walk in the door-it’s in the kitchen (also dirty cabinets) and bathroom (dirty shower and mildew in caulk). Bedspread had stains, couch pillows were dirty, carpet smelled musty. A/c vent in living room was covered in black dirt. The condo pool is NOT in operation and has not been for a year which was not disclosed in the listing. The property “ manager” at first gave me a partial refund for all listed above and re-cleaned which was appropriate. But then, on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 9 am I got a call and messages that the bedroom a/c was broken and leaking and maintenance needs inside. Then from Sunday until I checked out Wednesday, there was no a/c in the bedroom-not only was it extremely hot but the wet carpet made a strong mildew smell throughout the whole condo (more mildew than before!) and the drying fans ran 24/7 which are very loud. The “manager “ ignored this horrible issue and told me I could use the sleeper sofa instead! That is not what I paid for nor am I going to move heavy furniture to pull out a crappy couch bed when a nice king bed and private bedroom I paid for should be available! She was dismissive and rude and refuses to refund those 3 nights that I could not sleep nor even stay in the condo due to strong mold! This listing should be pulled off vrbo until the mildew is cleaned up and the host should be truthful on the listing-no pool until who knows when the association fixes it. Do not waste your money here!

We are an elderly couple, and we were concerned about tripping' hazards. There was a large area rug in the living room that became VERY wrinkled and wavy after being walked on, and we could never make it lie flat. There is a step up to the enclosed lanai that was a bit scary, too. There are two glass-topped tables that were, to me, extremely dangerous--the heavy glass was not secured to the bases and more than once the glass almost fell on us. I would encourage the owner to take care of these dangerous things before someone really gets hurt. I would hate to learn that there was an accident (or two) and resulted in a lawsuit. In spite of all of this, we loved the layout and location of the condo.
Condo is as states. Great location. What could be approved upon is the Terrible wi-fi unless your in the living room and Tv kept freezing and was hard to watch programs. But overall price was right for what we got and a great location in Waikiki.
Wish I could post pictures!!! Filthy property, got so sick from the amount of dust and dirt. Had to clean unit ourselves. Been staying in Vacation Rentals for 10 yrs. Worst ever. Pictures over 5 yrs old. Made leasing agent send carpet cleaner for floor and chairs ð¤®. Dishes and appliances filthy too. Way too much unnecessary furniture made it hard to move around in. Door code was original. Someone came in and took garage clicker with key fob, leasing agent secretly took other so left with no way to easily access parking space. She accused us of stealing it, but I could prove via security that it was never used. Felt so unsecured that we changed to door code and bought a door camera for remainder of our stay. Long term condo tenants are extremely hostile toward vacation rentals, and gym required a reservation still. Never got to use. And no promised surfboard storage. They just expect you to leave in parking space. Got harassed by HOA Karen for using mobility scooter inside. Would never stay here again!!!!
My husband and I just spent the month and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is work/maintenance that could be done to this condo but then the price would be substantially higher. When you get past that, understand that the location was perfect, there's lots of space, the bed and sofa were comfortable, cable was good and wifi was great for us - not one issue all month. We would happily go back.
