What a great location! The owners live on the property and are accessible but also very respectful of privacy. Traveling alone as a single woman I felt completely safe and comfortable. The beach access was right outside the front door. The grocery store, food trucks, a beautiful jogging/bike trail, awesome snorkeling and many gorgeous beaches are all in easy walking distance.
As far as the studio itself goes I appreciated the comfortable bed, tropical decor, washer/dryer, full kitchen and adorable private patio. It had everything I needed and more to be comfortable during my month long stay.
My son and I spent a pleasureable seven days in this studio. Location, location, location! We ended up parking the car and backpacking all week up to Sunset Beach, Pipeline and down to Waimea Bay. So nice to not deal with traffic and just walk on the beach or down the bike trails. The studio was perfect for two people, super clean. nicely decorated and right on the beach access path to Keiki Beach. The owners were extremely kind and accomodating. I highly recommend this unit if you want to truly hang out and blend into the North Shore.

My wife and I had the pleasure to rent this studio for a week in May. It's very well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. Just right for a couple that wants great, private, accommodations within a very short walk to a marvelous beach. Jim and Kathy were perfect hosts, greeting us when we arrived and giving us a brief tour of the studio and answering our questions. Beach chairs and towels were provided as well as the all little things needed in the bathroom. And the well outfitted kitchen was just what we needed when we didn't want dinner out, there's a grill too! The cozy lanai was a treat for relaxing outside. Very close to the grocery store and Sharks Cove. A North Shore gem! We hope to return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ke-iki unit! It was nicely furnished, very comfortable and in an awesome location. The beach was right there and very uncrowded in the spring. There's a lot to do on the north shore and we were close to all of it. Kathy made sure the unit was well appointed. Jim was very responsive if we needed anything or had any questions but they were happy to let us be as well. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to our friends as well.
We had the pleasure of staying in Jim and Kathy's unit from 15th to 22nd November and had a fantastic stay. The unit is very comfortable and very clean. The location of the unit is perfect it is positioned between Foodland and Pipeline beach and we enjoyed many walks around the area and there are lots of lovely well shaded footpaths in the area for walking along. Jim and Kathy's studio unit fits perfectly with the North Shore experience. There are lots of little extras in the unit that you can use like liquid soap, suncreen lotions, coffee, sugar, etc, too many to list. There is everything in the unit that you could need for your stay. The unit is about one minute from the beach and it is so close that you constantly hear the waves crashing on the beach it is very relaxing and we enjoyed many afternoons just sitting on the beach watching the surfers. We hired a car for the week but we could have very easily managed without one as the Hawaii bus service is very easy to use and very reliable. We had made contact with quite a few unit operators and very few even answered us however we found Jim and Kathy very easy to communicate with and they always got back to us straight away with any questions that we had. We would highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Hawaii, treat yourself and spend some time on the North Shore for a really relaxing back in time get away and you will be very happy if you rent a unit from Jim and Kathy, we highly recommend it.

including patio, parking, laundry and wifi within a few yards of a wonderful, uncrowded beach. Grocery
shopping is 5 minutes away and access to swimmable beaches a short drive away . Highly recommend

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week in Haleiwa, in a gorgeous little self contained studio. We were so lucky to find this place as we were looking for accommodation at very short notice. We had contacted several places with no luck and then one day we got an email back say " sorry we don't have anything available but our dear friend Kathy does". It was a little holiday miracle for us. Not only did we find an amazing place in prime location but we also got to meet the owners Kathy and Jim. As we live in Australia organising accommodation and payments can be very tricky, but Kathy contacted us and kept us in the loop with all the details we needed. When we finally arrived, we were blown away by how perfect this little studio was. They have thought of everything and it has such a beautiful homely feel. Kathy and Jim were so genuinely warm and friendly, we just felt like old friends coming to stay. My partner Troy is a big surfer, so he enjoyed the fact he could walk to all the breaks near pipeline and even enjoyed a couple of surfs with the owner Jim. It is close to the food store, pop up food vans, pipeline and only a short drive to the main Haleiwa township . This was an amazing experience for us and we will definitely be back. Not only for the accommodation but to visit our new friends Kathy and Jim. Thank you both for your hospitality xx
Very relaxing and quiet location. Two minutes to the beach, we took our beach chairs (provoded by the owners) every night at happy hour and watched the boggie boarders and the sunset. We saw whales everyday, and throughly enjoyed the beach. Close to shopping and a great footpath to Starbucks and grocery store.The suite itself had everything we needed very comfortable, used th BBQ for meals even breakfast as there is a side burner. Wonderfully quiet location yards from the beach!! Our flight was delayed but Kathy and Jim were very helpful in getting us settled. Upon arrival they checked us out on all the amenities and let us enjoy the sand and sea. Shopping is minutes away and for more excitement Haleiwa is a short drive as is the road north . Patio/ gazebo available with a barbeque and theres parking for a car . All around a great place to enjoy the real North Shore of Oahu. R & V
