The place itself could be nice, but it was not very well cleaned, the interior is of the cheapest kind and some of it old. The microwave and fridge wer visibly very rusty, the ice compartment broken. We did tell Vacasa about this and they did nothing about that, although they did switch out the broken mixer and gave us a kettle which was not listed in the rental agreement.For the amount this appartment costs, we would have expected something better.
This was a great property. Parking was an issue. I felt as thiugh we were always rushing to get back before sundown to insure we had a place to park. This is a ho4rible feeling on such a beautiful trip. The last couple of night the above neighbors were horribly loud and it sounded like they were practicing marching well after 10 or 11.
We initially booked this rental because it appeared affordable. However, we were surprised to discover additional fees that only became visible after check-in. These hidden costs brought the total price up to the level of a much nicer hotel. At that point, it was too late for us to cancel or adjust our plans.The accommodations themselves didn’t meet our expectations. The space was much more limited than anticipated, and for the price, we expected more in terms of comfort and amenities. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and both the pillows and towels appeared stained. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the unit was concerning, and the broken door latch made us feel unsafe during our stay.One of the deciding factors in choosing this rental was the promise of a reserved parking spot. Unfortunately, that promise wasn’t upheld. The spot was consistently occupied by another vehicle, and when we reached out for support, guest services told us to contact a tow company ourselves rather than assisting us directly. We later discovered that the same parking space had been assigned to another unit as well, which created unnecessary stress and inconvenience—especially during bad weather.In short, while the listing may seem budget-friendly at first glance, the experience didn’t reflect good value. The lack of transparency around fees, subpar accommodations, and limited guest support made for a frustrating stay. I hope this feedback helps inform improvements for future guests

Place was good. Parking very bad with no selected spot, no hot water for nearly 24 hours…
This is in a condo complex. Arriving at night was a challenge because there was extremely limited parking and we could not find our unit. Additionally, the patio door did not lock. It was comfy and clean.
We were pleasantly surprised by the portable a/c that was provided, very much appreciated. The room was nice, definitely not what is shown in the pics, the dresser is gone and has been replaced by a small couch with a small table in front of it. The fridge and micro are also located in front of what was a door next to the tv. It was clean, there were some things in need of repair but overall in good shape. There were also beach chairs, an umbrella and some other beach goodies provided. We used it as a spot to shower and sleep and honestly didn't spend all that much time there but if you're using it a base, it works great for such. The parking is weird, there is one spot for 116a and 116b, guess you gotta beat the neighbor, there was really nothing noted in the book about how that works. Overall though, pretty good digs for a short term stay.
This had what we needed in a quiet part of Princeville! Close to many things on the north shore.
The studio was clean but needed some TLC and a handyman.
Well stocked place, served our needs mostly. Princeville is hot in the summer, place could use a cooler.
This place had the necessities and was easy to find. Great location and everything you need for a home base. Hosts left tasty, local welcome treats. The Saturday farmer’s market was fun and it was an easy drive to Hanalei. We found a mellow beach nearby and a nice flat hike.
We loved the Kauai rains. :-)

Excellent property.. property and grouds keeping and flower gardens. Buildings are kept very nice. Swimming pool and hot tub are also very nice
The unit was tolerable though disappointing. It is clear that the bare minimum was done to make this a short term rental. For silverware there was only 1 of each utensil. The foldout couch was broken so the seat was slanted making it hard to sit on. The television did not work despite much work right the wiring and the remote. The blinds had mold and the top surfaces had not been wiped or dusted. For a low priced option we didn’t expect much, but did expect the basics of cleanliness. This is typical, though, with Vacasa run properties. We love VRBO but this is the type of place that gives short term rentals a bad reputation. This place would be good for 1-2 people in young 20’s or younger, but if you want any sense of comfort spend a bit more and avoid this place.
There is no AC so ventilation is windows an slated wall panels the units are right on top of on another so your neighbours hear you and you hear the neighbours. The ceiling is thin so the upstairs neighbours sound like elephants stomping around.We saw the pictures and the extra room and the fact it said twin bed that we figured that room was included. It was not part of the apartment they split that off as a separate rental. Instead, the second bed was a full size sofa bed that was stinky and had a bar in the center of your back. There were no spare sheets for it. The kitchen was bla and the fridge looks horrible the whole front is speckled with rust. It looked like a baby projectile vomited all over it. There are windows in the bathroom that give your neighbours upstairs a show every time you go to the bathroom, we put towels up to block it. There is also mold…. And there were roaches but to their “credit “there are roach traps all over so at least they are trying to get rid of them. It is very discouraging at night you see all kind of insects walking around. Finally, they have all sorts of warnings to leave the two parking pass … Stay away from Vacasa their customer service is just playing games sending back and forth nonsense messages ! they have 287 pages of complaints on BBB
