Location is excellent - easy walk to town and short drive to beaches. The cottage is amazing and the host was very helpful. Would highly recommend it .
The cottage was comfortable, classy, charming, and well appointed. Hawaii inspired artwork on the walls, with stacks of books and maps throughout- so even when you were inside, you didn't forget you were on an adventure. The kitchen and bathroom seemed to be freshly remodeled and were well equipped. The appliances and cabinets seemed to be brand new.The property is off the main street and is gated which kept it really private and secure. The surrounding garden patio is lovely. Beach chairs and towels were available for our daily excursions, which was so nice! We also really appreciated use of the washer and dryer at the next door property. The Pa'ia community was so charming and interesting with fabulous restaurant options. It was a perfect launching spot for all our adventures.
We had a very nice stay. The property is well equiped, quiet, and within walking distance to town and the beach. Communication and check in were simple and smooth. We’d definitely stay here again.

we enjoyed the cottage and location as well as the BBQ
We had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. It's a great location, we enjoyed the short walk into Paia with its great local grocery store, restaurants, ice cream, and coffee. It's also very centrally located, easy to get anywhere on the island. The host is incredibly responsive, the Mister Coffee didn't work properly, they pointed out that there was a French press available and immediately provided another coffee machine. We would love to come back!
We stayed at this lovely cottage for a few days while visiting Maui. If you're looking to stay Upcountry the location is excellent, the property had everything you could need and the property manager was very responsive. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!
Quiet, comfortable, and a short walk to town. No complaints.
A clean and comfortable 1-bedroom house, where all appliances, fixtures and functions worked smoothly. Easy walk to a welcoming and interesting downtown, with good restaurants and a nice vibe. Driving to beautiful beaches and intriguing sites was easy. We'd happily stay again.
We had a great time staying in Jacque's cottage on the North Shore, far from the Maui crowds. Pa'ia is charming and funky, and we loved that all the local restaurants and shops were just a short walk away. It's ideal if you are looking for something a bit different from the typical Hawaiian tourist experience, as we were. It's also a great jumping-off point for Haleakala, the Road to Hana, and upcountry Maui.
The owners are friendly and communicate well. On our first day, a light bulb burned out in the walk-in closet, and they came right over to replace it! Allowing guests to use the laundry machines around the back of the main house is also thoughtful and convenient. All around, a wonderful stay!
Cottage was equipped with a couple of beach chairs and umbrella for the beach. Short walk down a moderate hill to Paia. Would recommend.
We loved this spacious, comfortable cottage! Well-stocked kitchen, comfy living room and newly remodeled bathroom. Very short walk to the many restaurants and shops in Paia Town, and walking distance of Baldwin Beach Park. Close to Kahului and the Upcountry towns--so much to do within a 20 min drive. Even though the neighborhood along Baldwin is fairly dense, it was surprisingly quiet. The other cottage is on the other side of the property, and some landscaping screens make it feel so private. We loved the patio seating and the cooling trade winds. Can't wait to come back!!

Very pleased with our stay. Communication with the owner and access to the unit could not have been any easier. Jacque responded immediately every time we messaged her. Property was spotless and well stocked. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Towels and linens were very good quality. All the plumbing fixtures appear to be new and worked well with great water pressure. We really appreciated having a supply of essentials available like zip lock bags, foil, bug spray etc. Being able to park directly in front of the door was awesome. We used the small ice chest every day. Having an AC unit in the bedroom was great. We never needed to use the one in the living room. Location was perfect for exploring the entire east side of Maui including Hana, and Haleakala. The only minor issue was a neighbor dog that barked pretty consistantly through the night. So bring ear plugs if that will bother you. And we found no way to play music in the unit so bring a blue tooth speaker. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it.

I feel like I made the perfect choice. It was within walking distance of Paia town centre so I could walk for a meal or a little grocery shopping. There was more available in the cottage than I expected, a french coffee press for example. Gorgeous flowers and a papaya tree. Even private from the second cottage so It was a great little oasis. I was able to use the laundry which was needed for the 10 day stay. The host was very responsive to any questions. An absolute pleasure to stay there.
We enjoyed our stay at this charming place. It was the perfect location to walk to town and the beach. The place itself is clean and perfect for us as a couple as far as space and amenities.
Great stay in Paia. Close to downtown Paia and an easy drive upcountry. Clean and has everything you need for the beach (chairs, umbrella, snorkel).
Don't think there is a washing machine (although we didn't ask), so could be!
The property is in an ideal location-walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is behind a private fenced area off the street. The space is well laid out and comfortable for two people. The lanai area with some greenery was especially nice.
Everything you’d need with no frills. I loved how the property was set back a bit, behind a sliding gate. It felt safe and secure. I enjoyed the proximity of the cottage to the main strip, it was close enough to be walkable, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The place was perfect for what we needed. We loved drinking coffee on the little patio in the mornings, and the bed was the comfiest bed for a good nights sleep. Nothing negative to say about it!
Well stocked kitchen, thoughtful owners, clean, great location, exactly as advertised! Pa’ia is a great beach town, great besches.
Yes, the location is perfect--just minutes to walk into the lovely Pa'ia Town, and I did get to do quite a bit of walking (my #1 goal) while staying at Pa'ia Hale.
Everything I wanted to see and do was just 5 to 15 to 30 minutes (walking and driving) from my base camp!
A Catholic church is just up the street and their masses are at 7 am daily, except for one day a week and their Saturday mass was at 5 or 5:30 PM, just check their website, Holy Rosary.
The Baby Beach is ideal, and I walked there as well I walked really far one day, over 26,000 steps and felt safe the entire time; I slept well that night!
The cottage itself was clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked, and the layout was nice and comfortable.
Jacque is a fantastic communicator and made me feel so welcome; the Aloha spirit is in her messages, as well as in her property.
Next time, my family and I are in Maui, we will stay at Pa'ia Hale for sure.

Great little spot. Just a short walk into Pa’ia. Perfect to as described. Great place to rest your head for the night. Safe, fenced in entry. The owner lives nearby and the neighbors are friendly. Rest easy.
Had a wonderful time at this VRBO location! It was very clean and close to so many different attractions, restaurants, and beaches. The host Jacque was friendly, kind, and accommodating with our early flight arrival. Thanks so much we look forward to coming back!

We stayed 6 nights in Jacque’s one bedroom. It’s in Paia walking distance to everything in town. The private cottage has literally everything you need and is very well maintained and clean.
You will not be disappointed. Communication is great, it’s all good.

My husband and I spent a week here for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was within walking distance to Paia. The bungalow had all the essentials and was neat and tidy. I would definitely stay here again.
