My husband and I greatly enjoyed our Vrbo! It's a cozy condo and the views are to die for! It was great to meet John - he was very kind and welcoming. We were grateful to be near an area to see (and swim with) turtles. It truly made for memories of a lifetime!
The pictures on the listing does this condo no justice, for a second my sister and I thought we were in the wrong place. Amazingly clean, stocked with every possible thing you may need while on your stay. Booking was easy and prompt. John checked in on us by text once at our arrival and responded to my text very promptly as well. Views are amazing, turtles and sunsets were to die for. I will return and recommend John to friends and family.
We loved this property. The snorkelling right outside is tremendous. The unit has everything you need to enjoy beautiful Maui. Thanks John.
We had a great time. The resort is small but right at the ocean. There were so many turtles and snorkeling right off the shore was great. Staff were very friendly. Very quiet location. It was nice to have air conditioning in the bedroom to sleep. Very clean condo. It was a great place. We would definitely stay here again.
The place was truly amazing. It was incredible to see the turtles swimming up to you as you stood by the rocks. Additionally, the place appeared much more modern and well-maintained compared to the pictures John had provided. Not only that, but John also thoughtfully provided snorkels, floaties, sunscreen, shampoo, and other amenities.
We would definitely go back.
We stayed at this condo 2 times. And we will definitely come back again. Beautiful location, nice owners of the property, the condo is clean and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation at the beach. We would highly recommend this place.
We love staying at the kuleana resort, and john’s condo is the best unit we’ve stayed in there. The condo exceeded expectations in cleanliness, it was spotless and this as the first time I’ve been to Maui and didn’t see a single bug. The view from the patio is gorgeous, and it is an end unit so you don’t have people walking by the unit looking in your windows. The location of the kuleana is unbeatable, it’s in the middle of a protected turtle sanctuary and there are two small beaches accessible from the resort. The resort is very quiet and many of the other guests stay for weeks if not months, so this wouldn’t be a good spot to stay if you’re trying to party or come with a large group.

Condo is in a great area for vacation goers. Many nearby beaches, including in your back yard and plenty of places to get food. Waking distance to food court park. Would definitely stay here again!!
Had an amazing stay here! John was super fast to reply to any questions we had and even provided a very detailed list of food and activity recommendations. The space overall was very clean and and well kept. The location was wonderful it was quiet, safe and the staff onsite was also very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed being away from the large resorts, but still only being like 10/15 minutes away from main shopping. There was plenty of food options as well within a few minute drive. We loved spending the mornings enjoying breakfast on the patio listing to the birds and the waves, and walking down to the beach for sunset. We also saw plenty of turtles, which was awesome! We really loved this space and would 100% recommend it to others visiting the island. We hope to be able to visit here again soon!
We loved our time here at this property! From this cozy room on the end of the building, we could see the ocean through the beautiful flowers and lush greenery. It was a 60 second walk to be right by the shoreline. We saw whales, lizards, and turtles! Snorkeling is great from this area but the beachfront is rocky so it takes some finesse getting into the water. The condo itself was comfortable and accommodating. John was quick to respond and helpful in answering any questions we had. We look forward to coming back one day!
We enjoyed our stay! It is just outside of Old Town Lahaina, convenient to shopping/farmers market, and has a great beach with sea turtles!
The beach is accessible directly from the property which makes the community very special. Overall we had a very nice time staying at this property. If there is a possibility of upgrading the A/C, that would make the property perfect for vacation.
