Loved: beautiful inside/out, fun pools, sunset on grass near the cliffs, puzzles to borrow in common area, sport court/playground, proximity to Hanalei/Anini beaches, boogie boards.Could be better: no card reader for doorlock--just a physical key that was supposedly owned by maintenance which i had to argue to borrow so i could lock our door, 82 degrees when we arrived and it didnt cool down first night--subsequent nights were good just had to leave windows open all day, had to kill a monster cockroach, ants got our food on the counter--had to put it all in the fridge, dvd player didnt work due to seabreeze-rusted hdmi inputs on big tv.
Very nice and open. Perfect for our family's need. No A/C, but multiple fans and opening the windows allow for a nice breeze.
My family really enjoyed our time at the Cliffs. The unit is well equipped with a lot of little extras like boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkel gear. My only complaint is it doesn’t have an AC unit. I knew it didn’t, but it would have been nice. That said, I’d stay again.

This was a great stay. A minor issue with the key, but easily resolved the next day. We were in Princeville with friends and family all staying within 3-4 minutes of us. This is a convenient spot if you’re staying in Princeville. The bluffs, golf course, plenty of roads for walking/running and gorgeous scenery all around. We walked to a yoga class on the bluffs of the golf course. Very close to Foodland for any grocery needs. The condo was lovely and the lanais were great for morning coffee.
Came for a family vacation. Perfect for what we needed. Accurate listing and we loved every second.
Rooms and grounds were great. Beautiful view and very nice pool/amenities for kids.

The location is great, short walk to watch the sunset, lanai’s on both sides. Roosters were annoying and communication through the vrbo app was non existent, questions went un-answered although one could probably go to the front desk of the reception area of the property. When we checked in we were given a key card to the condo but it required a key. Be sure to grab a real key from the desk if staying here.
The condo was as advertised on the listing. Beds were all comfortable, we slept well. There are ceiling fans in every room. We did find to additional fans to use as well as leaving both sliding doors open for the trade winds to blow through. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking/kitchen item that you may need. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion were provided as well as both hand and body bar soap. Previous renters have also left a variety of items behind in one of the bathroom closets. Although there was a large amount of snorkel equipment most was at the end of its life. There were four beach chairs, a beach umbrella as well as a boogie board. The views from both lanais were great. The putting green and a bbq are located just out the front of the condo. The office personnel were great to work with outside of the fact that the gal who checked us in gave us a key card to the room even though we pointed out that other reviews state that the condo takes an actual key. There seems to be a disconnect when it comes to this aspect as such we had to return to the office to get a “key”. There are many activities on site that you can partake in as well as many others off site. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

This property was perfect home base for our Kauai vacation. The condo was clean and beautiful and had everything we needed for cooking , adventuring, and beach days. The grounds are gorgeous and the location is close to everything we love on the north shore. Valerie, the owner, was friendly and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to plan another trip.

We loved this stay! There was everything needed for the beach, comfortable furniture, and plenty in the kitchen.
The check in was a bit frustrating as the property employees gave us a key scanner when they door was a lock. However, this is no fault of owner, but a future aware for other renters.

This whole stay needs edited: the check-in instructions are wrong. The listing hasn’t been updated since 2020. The listing shows everything from the most positive angle. There’s random stuff in every closet. The outdoor equipment is broken. The shower hardware is covered in soap scum and- hanging on. The “washer/dryer” has restrictions. The parking is not free. The furniture is ripped up/has duct tape on it. The “mats” outside are cut carpet remnants. Beds have sagging in the middle. The lights/fan are done on extension cords, which can’t be up to code, and there’s not enough power to use both on high. All of this would probably be just annoying except the owner gives you wrong details (wifi, parking, check in), and NEVER responds to anything. There’s a folder of random copies of instructions, but a lot of that is wrong too.
We’ve stayed in a lot of vrbos and this has probably been my least favorite. No part of it is designed for you to rest, or have an easy vacation- curtains block no light, ceiling fans on the extension don’t go high enough, etc.
Stuff the owners can’t help, but worth knowing: most beaches have little parking access. You need to walk about a mile from the place to get to Hidden Beach/Queen’s Bath. There’s almost no restaurants walking distance. The pool is small. The other tenants use it to swim laps, so it’s not great to play in. The tennis courts haven’t been properly maintained, so there’s lots of dead lines/puddles/spots.

We stayed at Princeville Cliffs condo for one week. It was a nice place that served our family of 5 well. Nice pool.
This was our second time staying at this property and it was again an amazing experience! The condo is beautiful and spotless and the resort is amazing. We can't wait to return!
