This place is well appointed and the host reaponds promptly if you have any needs. Loved the location as well. Love the Banyans
This was the most stocked condo that we have stayed at in Maui. We have been there many times and stayed in Maalaea Village. The Banyans has always been a favorite as we go for 3 weeks and it has its own washer and dryer. We highly recommend this condo. The owner is very nice and good to work with.
This is our third time in Nikta's condo at Ma'alaea Banyans, and it is always a great experience. Being able to watch the sunrise over Haleakala and then walk just a couple of blocks to a quiet sandy beach for a long morning stroll and swim makes our visits to Maui just perfect. We are visiting family in Kahului, so the location is extremely convenient, but it would also be a great base to explore any part of Maui. The condo itself has absolutely everything you might want for your stay, and the complex is very well-maintained. Nikta is accessible and generous, going above and beyond to make sure your visit is exactly what you want, including providing a lovely welcome basket.
The unit has everything we needed. When we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome basket with fruit and treats. Kitchen is well supplied if you choose to dine in. View from the balcony is s dream come true!
What a beautiful location! The condo lacked for nothing. Nikta has a great eye for detail and is a very gracious host. We would definitely rent this unit again!
Once again, we are amazed at how well-stocked this condo is! Nikta has thought of everything. Combine that with an ideal location (a block to a great beach for walking and even a couple spots good for swimming, easy to get anywhere on Maui from here) and fantastic views for sunrise and sunset. . .it doesn't get any better. The property was nice and loved how the sea turtles would camp out on the beach in the evening. The host was fantastica nd check in just to see how things were going.
I wasn't 100% excited of the location because nothing was super close by. I had to drive to Kehei just to have a meal or do anything else. That's about it.
From checkin, helping in between, to checkout this week has been awesome. We did not have a good experience with lodging in Kona so we were a bit skeptical here but thankfully this place was great! The building itself seems older but well maintained except for the elevator and it just seemed to need a good hard cleaning. The pool isn’t big and didn’t appear to be cleaned daily but it could have been. We enjoyed it almost daily. This condo was spotless and welcoming. Ms Nikta had a full welcoming basket for us which provided us breakfast along with snacks. The bed was comfortable and so was the AC which we used at night. Our favorite part of the condo was the balcony. Absolutely gorgeous view and turtles they came everyday to play. Watching them frolic around has been a daily highlight. Having to remember the pool key was a bit inconvenient but I understand. We enjoyed the harbor restaurants several times so close by. This location does seem to be pretty much in the middle of Maui so going either way around the island is convenient. If we ever get back here we will definitely be trying to stay here on this condo again. Ms Nikta is a great host and we thank you for a great week and all your help while we were here.
Our high expectations were exceeded in every way! Hoping to return as soon as we can! Not only was the unit impeccably remodeled, but all of the extras were high end as well, which made our stay that much better!
The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Nikta graciously left a basket for us with some fruit and goodies, and also the best banana bread in the fridge! The view from the lanai was simply amazing. We saw sea turtles daily, and a few of the mornings we were able to see humpback whales - bring binoculars!
