We have been traveling a lot and have stayed various type of holiday home. This is one the best ever stayed. The place is super clean, well equipped kitchen, BBQ grill on the lanai, washer and dryer, everything perfectly worked. 3 mins walk to most beautiful beach in the US! I would love to come back again.
Beautiful, private and upscale area. Updated and clean cottage. Perfect for quiet stay in gorgeous Lanikai. Enjoyed our walks and catching the sunrise several mornings. Driving to town was quick and easy mid week in May. There are mosquitos but using an all natural spray helped considerably. Pool was nice to have available; water was very warm. Outdoor shower very helpful after beach day. Easy communications and check in/out.
Small issue with a mix up in the cleaning persons schedule but it worked out great. The hosts were very responsive and the cleaning person was quick, thorough and pleasant. Hope to book this property again in the future.
Loved the location. Walk to beach and pull box hike. The pool was lovely! Enjoyed the hammock.
It was clean, felt safe and secure. Keyless lock was really covenant.

We were so pleased to find a legal vacation rental in the beautiful neighbourhood of Lanikai. The property is in a wonderful location; a short walk from the incredibly gorgeous Lanikai beach (~8 min) and the Pillbox trailhead (~15 min).
The property is lush, beautifully landscaped, and private. The interior of the cottage feels newly renovated and is well-designed with high-end finishes. The bed was very comfortable.
The hosts kindly provided a pack-and-play with fitted sheets for our baby. They were also very responsive and flexible with a request to change to our reservation dates leading up to our stay.
The pool and deck area were also beautiful. In an effort to provide a balanced review, I should mention that unfortunately, the mosquitoes made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor area (even with the use of mosquito coils).

We initially wondered if it was too remote, but learned that driving 30-60 minutes would have been the norm on Oahu, regardless of where you might have elected to stay. The town of Kailua had nice small shops and restaurants, with gorgeous state beach park. And walking to and along Lanikai beach from the house a great bonus. Highly recommended for two people.

What a treat to stay at this beautiful and peaceful little cottage... it was perfect for the two of us! The cottage was sparkling clean throughout, and we just loved the style & quality of everything. The towels were plush, air conditioner worked great, nice dishes & kitchenware, etc. The pool was such a treat to enjoy each day, and we loved taking the double kayak out to paddle around Lanikai, overall what an absolute treat. Really appreciated the beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Already looking forward to our next stay, many thanks!

The cottage and grounds are lovely. It was a perfect spot for my husband and 10 year old to relax and recharge. My son loved the pool and swam every single day. Beach is only a short walk and gorgeous. Absolutely wonderful stay.

This is a lovely place if you want to relax. Best beaches are close by, a very short walk. The pool area could use lounge chairs and it’s a bit dirty and unorganized with beach chairs and equipment. The Air conditioner and fans were great! Due to the road work from Lanikai to Kailua it takes a long time to get from A to B. Traffic was horrible if you need to go out and eat or buy groceries; however, it’s always fabulous to be in Hawaii no matter what the circumstances may be! Enjoy!!

The guest house is wonderfully comfortable and well appointed; the plunge pool and grounds are amazing!!
Only nit-picky critiques would be 1) the fridge is very small, it's a pull out drawer fridge, which is probably in the listing but we didn't realize it until after arriving. That's most likely on us, if you are expecting a mini fridge it's fine. 2) multiple people came unannounced onto the property during our stay, to retrieve cars, clean the pool and grounds and whatnot, which again was fine but unexpected. A heads up would have been nice.
Truly paradise, a quick walk to multiple incredible beaches, easy drive to wonderful restaurants, feels upscale and secure. Luxury linens and magnificent landscaping help make the property feel so special! Highly recommend this beautiful romantic property.
We discovered Lanikai Beach years ago and usually drove over a few times when we would stay at Waikiki Beach. It was perfect to discover our cottage in Lanikai and the small pool was a bonus! The cottage was adorable, the area was quiet and it was a short walk to the beach. Loved our time there and would definitely return.

The gated entrance, private pool, outdoor shower…this bright, modern, brand new cottage has it all! Space efficient kitchen offers everything for gourmet chefs yet it’s perfectly designed with clean lines like fine European hotels. A very short 1-1/2 block walk to the most ideal beach #1 in the Hawaiian islands…swim to the mokolua/twin islands, use the kayaks and enjoy the thoughtful details of this impeccably designed vacation rental. The air conditioning was amazing but even opening the windows and letting the trades into the cottage was so comfortable. Everything you need is on-site. Amazingly responsive host!! Thank you!!
Great place to stay. Nice yard and nice little house. Easy walk to Lanikai Beach. We try to stay again if we return to Lanikai.
Superb location for easy walking access to Lanikai and Kailua Beach, Pillbox hike and a short drive to Kailua town which has wonderful restaurants and friendly people. The Ohana unit is situated on a lovely property with excellent parking at the far end of Lanikai loop, without a lot of traffic. It’s very quiet and peaceful at night. The Ohana unit is comfortable and cozy, roomy enough for two people. It’s a bit dated and in need of some deferred maintenance, new paint and deep cleaning of the windows, nooks and crannies but overall cozy, ideally located and good value for the location.
The Cottage Sits an A spacious property in front of A large home. It is surrounded by dense foliage giving one the feeling of privacy. Between the home and cottage there is a sculpted pool with a very deep end so children will have to be watched carefully. The cottage itself is very efficiently laid out and has a large deck with the dining table.While there is no stove there is a microwave and hot plate along with a barbecue on the deck. One doesn’t come to this part of a way to stay in doors and this cottage is perfect for Outdoor living. There is good parking on the property. It is literally minutes from the beautiful Lanikai beach and only a 5 to 10 minute drive into town where there’s ample parking everywhere. One has a real feeling of serenity when staying here. We would definitely come back.It is truly a charming cottage
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage although it really needs to be updated. The shower and bathroom are showing some pretty bad wear and you’ve got to be ok with cardboard on the window, geckos in the bedroom and ant traps on the counters. But it was quiet, relaxing and walkable to the beach which were the most important to us.
We had such a great time at this cottage! I highly recommend staying here in Lanikai. It was an awesome location with a short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise every morning. The gated property was so unique with the little pool/waterfall. Our 5 yo did not want to get out! We cannot wait to return!
