Excellent location, right on the beach. Can’t be any closer to all the restaurants. There’s only one frying pan in the unit and it’s very poor quality. The blinds would need to be replaced sooner than later. Overall great place to stay.
Room #1106 was excellent and comfortable and loved the view.. the only was there was no toilet bush in the bathroom.. that would be my only suggestion the condo would need... Mahalo and aloha..
There is a lot to like about this place. The view from the lanai is fantastic. Your high enough to get a good view of the ocean, the beach and the Honolulu skyline. You do hear some traffic noise but no noise from the many people walking below going to and from the beach. Every evening you get a fantastic view of the sunset and on Friday nights of the fireworks display from the Hilton hotel. Overall the condo is clean and the condition is acceptable. There are a few things that should be fixed: the bedroom has only one nightstand. The sliding partition between the bed and the living room has some of the folds that have separated from the slider which makes the partition hard to use. We didn’t use it for fear that it would get worse and would not work which was a problem when wanting to watch TV while others wanted to sleep. Some of the shades on the sliding glass doors are not all positioned correctly to block the light and need to be adjusted. The dishwasher is very loud and should be replaced. One of the handles on one of the left cupboard door is loose. The unit could use a deep clean. We noticed some hairs attached to the bathroom ceiling above the shower and dust on the upper closet shelves.
We are huge fans of Waikiki Shore and have been there several times. This is the first time it was just my husband and I so we rented a one bedroom just doors down from the unit we usually rent. It was perfect. Same great view. Same great service. Everything that makes us enjoy this property we had with this unit. Now if you are looking for a place with a pool, gym, bar and restaurant..this is not for you you. But...if you want a quiet unit that is steps from the beach and offers a tranquility that I don't think you can get anywhere else on Waikiki, then check this place out. Restaurants, bars and stores (and the crazy and the crazy of Waikiki) are steps away. Here you can relax, go for long walks, sit on our balcony in peace and walk just a few yards to Oasis Bar for a cocktail at sunset. So wonderful.
We loved it, perfect for what we wanted, super clean and spacious. In-room safe a bonus, only issue was a very noisy washing machine when on spin cycle.
