We really enjoyed staying at this house. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen, and had a great view of the crashing waves against the lava rock. It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Highly recommend and would stay again

The location on the cliff over the ocean means the house is breezy and comfortable day and night. We ate every meal on the main level deck and sat on the cushioned sofa and chairs to drink our morning coffee and read, and just enjoyed the sights and sounds of the ocean. The lower level deck is right off the master bedroom and the second bedroom and also features great views and the hot tub. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen and butler's pantry, and the dining room and living area are spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed. Had excellent communication with the hosts and they even provided special touches since we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Close proximity to Hilo and we also enjoyed visiting Keaau and Pahoa, which are also a short drive away. This is truly an outstanding property - could not recommend more highly.

It is a beautiful and relaxing location to sit on the lanai and hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Since it is an oceanfront location, you always have a nice and refreshing breeze coming through the windows and doors.
