Great vacation spot for family of four with teenage aged boys.
Our family had wonderful stay! The property is much more beautiful than photos online. Clean spacious and extremely comfortable beds! Ocean views with the most spectacular sunsets. Quick walk to shopping and beaches and pool.
We had a great time. Perfect location for doing tourist things and close to the pool and grills which we utilized.
This is a fabulous condo. Everything we needed was in the condo. There were sufficient bedrooms for our family, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, lots of plates, glasses etc etc. The lanai looks onto the ocean and coming from a land locked province this was incredibly enjoyable. There was an issue with the A/C hence the 4 stars. The owner communicated the problem to us about a week or so before we arrived which was appreciated. However it was too late to book anywhere else and he kindly offered us a full refund. Nonetheless we arrived and were able to be comfortable. David is a very good communicator. I would have loved a comfy outdoor couch on the lanai but that just a minor observation. I would recommend this property.It is perfect for families and just across from the pool and BBQs. Should we return to Maui I’d like to stay there again.
This unit is in an ideal location with an incredible ocean view. We enjoyed the sunset each evening on the lanai overlooking the racquet club. This unit was also (by far!) the best stocked rental we’ve ever had on Maui. There was a great selection of nice microfiber towels, beach chairs, sand toys and several sizes of paddle boards. The kitchen also had all the essentials- oil, sugar, spices, soy sauce etc to make cooking a breeze. However, there were issues with the A/C while we were there and we couldn’t have it on in the bedrooms and in the living area at the same time. We were also asked to keep it at 78 degrees or above during our stay. Each room had a ceiling fan which was nice but sometimes you just need air conditioning. Thu “bunk” room is cute and nicely done but from the description I didn’t understand the layout of the unit until I saw it. The first bedroom with the twin beds is right inside the front door. The door to that room is made of rice paper and there’s no way of eliminating the sound or light from the living area to that bedroom. The bunk room (I believe) was formerly a small closet which connects this first bedroom to the primary bathroom and primary bedroom.The door between the bunk room and the primary bathroom/bedroom is also rice paper so the sound/light easily travels there too. Due to the sound issues, everyone went to bed when the kids went to bed. We also had issues with the smartTV in the living area so we didn’t use it.
Loved the location!! Great sunset views and close to awesome beaches. Home was like staying with a friend. Not stuffy. Host was helpful.
Plenty of room, great ocean view, good AC, and great communication with owner. A pleasure to stay here and will come again. Not a complaint to offer. It was just right!
We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo! It was sparkling clean, everything we needed for a day at the beach was available for our use, the kitchen was well equipped for making meals and the furniture/beds were comfortable. Everything was perfect for our first ever family trip to Hawaii. We are so grateful.
Our family, daughter and son in law, their two children and us grandparents stayed at this Grand Champions condo. We've been to Grand Champions before but not to this unit. The location and community can't be beat! The condo was clean and quite comfortable. The reason for the 4 stars was there were very tiny and in the kitchen intermittently, the condo could use some general updating and the owner forgot to send the check in instructions. So after a long travel day with two small children in tow, we didn't have complete address or an access code. It took quite a while to reach him and finally get the info we needed. Then it was smooth sailing. Don't hesitate to stay here. It was wonderful!

Our stay here was great! The area was nice and quiet, and the ocean view was nice. It’s bigger than a lot of similar places we considered, which is good when you have teenagers. The bunk room is probably perfect for families with small kids, but my teenagers just ended up sharing the room with the twin beds. It got a little warm in the bunk room. Would definitely stay here again!
What a lovely home, with perfect Hawaiian charm! The house was SO clean, which we really appreciated. There was plenty of room for us. The accommodations are even nicer than pictured, particularly the little bunk room. It is a small space, but it not only opens up through the ship door into the double twin room, but also opens into the shared bathroom with the master on the other side making it feel more spacious and open to the other bedroom spaces. We found several beach chairs, beach toys, floaties, coolers etc. You will find everything you need for beach days. And we loved sitting on the lanai watching the pickle ball tournaments below us. We'd come back in a heartbeat! For your planning purposes, we had two adults, four teens and one eight year old staying with us, all very comfortably.
Great condo for our family of 5 adults, close to great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We enjoyed watching whales from our Lanai and got to view some pickleball matches as well. Our flight got cancelled and we needed another night. David was very responsive and flexible to help us. A great family vacation. Thx
Tara and David’s Wailea condo was the perfect Maui home base for our multigenerational family vacation.
The condo itself is large, tastefully decorated and has all the little details that make for a great trip in Hawaii, like beach towels, coolers and beach chairs (really game changing for beach hopping.)
The condo is comfy and feels like home. There was lots of space to spread out in. Beds were super comfortable.
It’s the perfect location on the amazing property - close to pool, sweeping views of the ocean, spacious wraparound lanai.
