Property met all our expectations in terms of quality and location to family. Property manager was very helpful, answered all questions and addressed all of our needs on a timely basis.

Perfect location and spacious, clean and well-ventilated home. Ceiling fans and trade winds were enough to keep us cool. Beautiful garden with pool to relax after a day at the beach or a bike ride around town. We rented bikes which made the trip to shops or to the beach very easy (and gave lots of independence and flexibility to the kids). The home was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed; in fact I am sure that other guests would be happy to stay in the garden, make delicious meals on the barbecue and relax in the pool! We even enjoyed feeding the Koi fish in the pond at the entrance to the home. Our property manager, Debra, was very professional and a big shout out to Ingrid, the owner of Home Sweet Home, for letting us stay there. Cannot wait to come back to Kailua for Bob’s pizza, the beach and Home Sweet Home.
This house is in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, about a 35 minute walk to the beach or to the town centre. The interior is spacious and well appointed with a well equipped kitchen. There is a lot of white (sofas and carpets) so you do need to be mindful. The pool is mostly deep and a bit cold for swimming in the winter months. The highlight for us were the breathtaking surrounding beaches of Kailua, Lanikei and Wiamanola. Also many hiking possibilities for the more adventurous. Kailua has avoided the hustle and bustle of extreme tourism as seen in other parts of Oahu.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire property and everything was there to complete a fabulous experience!! We travelled with my husband's sister and brother-in law who also loved our accommodation! The beautiful house was well furnished with multiple sitting areas to enjoy with others or by yourself. The pool was great. The pool and property were maintained very well during our stay. Quiet neighbourhood with all amenities within easy walking distance. Best vacation ever!!!
We had a great 1 month stay at this home in October 2016. The home is immaculate and very well-cared for since the hosts go the extra mile for you. There was a welcome basket of goodies and giant toy floating in the pool for our kids when we arrived. Even though we got in quite late, the host was there to greet us and show us around. You can get to the beach, shopping and restaurants with a 5 minute drive. We traveled with our two young children (ages 5 mos and 1 year) as well as one grandmother and the house suited all of us well. The pool was a fantastic feature so we spent most of our time outdoors. I would recommend this property for parents with children since there is lots of space but you must keep a close eye on little ones because of the white furniture and the pool. Our son loved walking around the neighbourhood and visiting the school/park which is only a 5 minute walk away. If possible, we highly recommend booking the additional suite if you have family visiting. We booked it when we had three family members join us for a week and it was wonderful since there was more than enough space and privacy for everyone. Overall, it's a great rental for a couple or family with its mix of Hawaiian charm with high-end comforts. We plan on returning!
I had a very pleasant 2 month stay at the house. It is a lovely, cozy house that is very conveniently located near the beach and any shopping needs. I was really impressed with how wonderfully it was run. Any request or slight issues I had were instantly addressed.
I came away with the clear sense that they were invested in making my stay as pleasant as possible.
We love this place and always look forward to our return! This home away from home is detailed with everything you need and want to enjoy your stay in Hawaii. This house is extremely clean, with white lines and white towels. A bit of hawaii decorating the home makes you feel indulged in the culture.i love the beach, and its so close, I ride my bike there everyday! I can't wait to return to this immaculate home. I highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!
