The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was my first time booking through VRBO since my husband usually handles our travel arrangements, so I was a little nervous. I used the map to see the exact location, but the app only showed the general area of the entire property (Kiahuna Plantation). As a result, I didn't realize it was a bit far from the beach. However, my husband appreciated that it was away from the main grassy area because it provided more privacy.Everything was remodeled, but some aspects felt a little outdated and cheaply done, although the place was clean. Most of the furniture was new and very comfortable, including the bed and the sofa bed. While the unit did not have air conditioning, opening all the windows and turning on the fan allowed for a nice breeze that kept the place cool.They provided beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler, which were very convenient. The dishes, glassware, and utensils were clean and seemed to be new. Overall, we ended up loving the place and would definitely stay here again.
This is a comfortable unit with a great lanai in a quiet area of the property. The owners are responsive and great to work with. We had a great time!
The condo was clean, fully stocked kitchen with tons of beach items and even a tidy selection of children's books and toys that my two young boys absolutely loved. So lovely to hang out on the lanai, easy walk to the beach and also easy access to shopping across the street. Could not recommend more highly.
This condo was smartly and comfortably decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay!
We had a great stay at this unit which is in a wonderful location near Poipu Beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The living room closet had really helpful items to take to the beach including chairs, boogie boards and a cooler - thank you! Our only real critique was that the dinner plates are too big to fit on the bottom rack of the dishwasher (the spinner hits them) so that made dinners more challenging. More dish towels were necessary for us too as we did most all of our meals at the apartment (food costs are insane in Kauai!) Mahalo for a great stay, awesome communication and documents before our arrival!
Great location, I was worried about lack of A/C over spring break, however we were completely comfortable!
Great property with everything you need in the kitchen as well as all the stuff you need to enjoy the beach. We would stay here again !
Spent 11 nights here after a few other days on the north shore. We have been to Poipu than 10 times but the first time at this resort. The grounds were lovely to bask in the sun. The gym membership across Poipu rd. with the pool was a key attribute. The bed was very comfortable and the unit had almost everything you would need to cook in most nights. It was conveniently located by Poipu and Kiahuna beaches. There were chairs, a really nice umbrella with cooler to use. Towels can be checked out from the surf shop down by the beach. Washer and dryer are down the street and take credit cards to use.The unit had a nice breeze in the evening with the plantation style shutters. Without A/C the place was generally cool except around 4pm could get a little hot. (Easily cured with happy hour down by the beach). The lanai felt really big as it was and end unit in the ground floor. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank for your hospitality.. It is really a cute place.
This was a fantastic place to stay during our recent trip to Kauai. Excellent location with great amenities included. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had what we needed. The unit was clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again!
Property was as advertised. Clean and had one cleaning during our 10 night stay. Perfect for 2 people. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort! Our host provided us a detailed instruction for our check in and check out, as well as a list of places to visit and eat! Our condo was very clean and stocked with the convenience items we needed! The location of the condo offered lots of walkable activities including beach access, coffee, dining, and a great health club with a gym, pool and many other activities! The condo is located in close proximity to many great shopping areas, popular beaches, hiking trails, and tourist attractions! There is a nice grass area just outside the condo patio to relax in the sun or sit and enjoy the birds singing! Our one complaint about the condo was servers times thought out the day and night there is a loud thumping noise that often woke us up at night! We weren’t sure if it was a water pump or what but this did bother us, so something to keep in mind! Overall, our experience was great!
It was lovely! This is the second time we have stayed in the same place and it’s perfect every time. We will be continuing to book at this location! without a doubt the best by far! Our favorite!
The place is gorgeous and very comfortable. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised having not stayed in a VRBO property before. We want to do it again for a longer stay but were disappointed to see that this property isn't available next year. We will have to figure something out. Mahalo for the great stay!

We had a lovely stay keeping busy with all the sights and walks available to us. Condo was adequately stocked, needs a new toaster! Telephone co. Put new equipment in and we weren’t able to get all the stations after that.
