Pleasantly surprised having never been to Maui before. This was 1 of 2 properties I narrowed down. The other was further NW & had 2 separate bedrooms & more expensive but wasn't needed when another couple wasn't able to make the trip. The view & ocean proximity of this unit exceeded that of the 1 we rented when we moved on to Kauai for the 2nd half of our vacation. The entire experience was effortless.
Had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were involved in recent tsunami warning/evacuation. Other air-b-n-b s provided direction to evac locations; would have liked that too!
We had a great time at this condo.We walked every morning on the beach, it was clean and beautiful!The condo had EVERYTHING you need for a relaxing vacation. Beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas for the beach and the kitchen was complete with every you would need.Also, there were full size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the bathroom! Laundry pods and sheets make it really easy to throw a load of laundry in…no need to buy or pack any! The location was great! 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes to Kannapali area and 20 minutes to Wailea area. We will definitely book this condo when we return to Maui!Highly recommend!
Wonderful place in a GREAT location!!! Apartment was neat and clean, grounds are very clean, maintenance guys cleaning every early morning, even wiping the railing around the pool. Apartment has has everything you need, super well equipped kitchen (literally whatever I needed to prepere meals was there), 3 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas(we used one) a small cooler backpack and even flashlights which were super useful when we went to see the sunrise above the clouds. Each morning we started the day with a walk on the beach followed by breakfast on the balcony listening to the ocean waves. Will be recomending this place to my friends and hoping to be back one day. The condo is very nice but parking was a challenge do to repairs to parking garage. Very clean unit
Check-in process was super easy ! Resort manager and Host were very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful updated unit with a breathtaking ocean view. Close to amazing golf courses and restaurants. Also, can walk out from resort to beautiful long sandy beach AND the best shaved ice in MAui. A great choice to stay when visiting the beautiful island of Maui. We will definitely be back!
This condo was fantastic! King size bed, which was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with any pot/pan/appliance/utensil you may need. Recliner in the living area. The grounds and pool were beautifully kept, and the access to the beach can't be beat. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Quick access to any area of the island. Onsite concierge to help you with excursions, as well as a sandwich shop/bar if you don't want to cook or go out. We had a great time!

Great location with a great pool and hot tub! Loved that it was right on the beach and was easy to access. Check in process was smooth and easy. Inside the actual room was just okay. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t actually been really scrubbed in quite a while. Let’s just say there wasn’t a lack of mold in the shower.
Wow, this home was super comfortable. The views from the lanai were stunning! I saw several whales spouting in the distance. Thanks to the host for such a lovely place to stay
The property had everything we needed to relax & recover from a very difficult year. The kitchen was well stocked & the property was clean & beautiful. Thank you! We will be back!
The condo was very clean, had lots of kitchen stuff, and was nicely furnished with clean, newer furniture.
Had 4 beach chairs and a cooler, but didn’t really have any other beach toys (snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc) like other units we’ve stayed in at Sugar Beach.
Overall, very nice stay. We would definitely stay here again!
This condo is in an amazing location! The views were spectacular. The condo had everything we needed and more. The pool is right next to the ocean. Convenient to all parts of the island. Host was very responsive.

Location was great, steps from the beach. Loved the view from the lanai. Grateful for the insulated bag and ice packs. We used them every day. Extra nice that they provided laundry soap. Pool was clean and just the right temperature. Great location for enjoying the sunsets.

We have stayed in different units of sugar beach resort over the years and this rates as one of the nicest. Great view, excellent amenities, covered parking, and walk out access to the pool and the beach. Perfect for a week away!
My family had a wonderful time! The condo was clean and exactly what we needed. It's in a great location, has plenty of free parking, and a great pool and beach access. Kristi, the owner, is fabulous to work with and very helpful! We will absolutely stay again next time we visit Maui!
Our stay at Sugar Beach was absolutely perfect. This space was ideal - the location was stunning, the unit clean, well-stocked, photos and descriptions were perfectly representative of the unit itself. Check in was a breeze, communication easy and clear. We would love to stay here again!
This unit was well stocked just like the description states. The unit is spacious and has all the comforts of home. Nice view of the beach. Close to restaurants. Only 75 minutes to Haleakala summit to view sunrise. Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay here. Our unit was adequate and quite clean. We had the amenities we needed. Loved the location which was central to everything we wanted to see. I feel the exterior could use use some sprucing up. It's an older place and in need of painting. Hall by our room was drab. Pool area is nice but offers little shade. When we stayed the water was too rough all week for swimming. Management promptly helped with an issue we had.
