This location was perfect for us. The resort is steps away from the beach where we walked and swam every morning. You can walk for miles up the white sand beach. Water in front of the condo is calm so swimming or boarding is great. The property was very clean and had recently been updated with new appliances and a king size bed. The manager, Sherry was great as she is very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this property.

I always stay at Krakatoa Resort when I come to Maui. The location is the best and virtually all.units have great views. The entire resort is modern and all units are well equipped. The grounds are impeccable!Highly recommend.

Great stay. Things to know:at least 5 minute drive to town of Kihei, rare open space adjacent to condo, swimmable beach right in front, A/C is only in living room, and Manager often not in office. Rental personnel extremely helpful.
We enjoyed the rental. It was clean, well maintained, and had nice amenities. The pool was nice and the access to the beach was perfect. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

Thank you once again for having us. We have been lucky enough to stay at the Kealia Resort all 6 times that we have been to Maui. It is a wonderful property that is in a great location on the island. We hope to come back soon!!
Unit was perfect. Loved sleeping with the ocean crashing all night as natural white noise. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in this unit many times in the past. We like the location close to the beach and away from the commercial part of Kihei. The birds and waves are a sound we enjoy hearing 24/7 as we don't use the air conditioner so cannot comment on it.The unit was well stocked and the starter supplies great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had no issues while we were there. I was VERY happy to see the owners had finally put in a large cooler with 2 large ice packs to use for day trips. That was a great surprise. The description of the unit online needs to be updated as the owner has taken out the phone so there is no long distant calling to family to let you know you arrived or local calling to make inquiries or reservations during your stay. We will return to Kealia Resort as it is a relaxing place to unwind.
We had a great stay at the Kealia Resort in Maui. The instructions that we received for getting to our building and getting inside were great, and there was a parking garage and assigned space, which made having a rental car super easy. The condo building was generally quiet, though we could hear some beach and street noise with our windows open, but nothing preventing us from relaxing or sleeping. The sounds of the crashing waves were actually very nice at night. The bunkbeds in the unit were great for the kids, and the king size bed was close by so we could hear them and keep an eye on them. The unit itself was very clean, and there was a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from our lanai. There is a short, small beach right behind the building and we usually had that section to ourselves when playing in the sand. There were always people walking up and down the beach, but rarely anyone actually sitting anywhere near us in the sand. The building provided some sand toys near the washing station which was great for the kids since our individual unit didn't have any. The building was just a short drive from town, and from most things, which was nice, though it wasn't really walkable with two small children. Overall, it was really great and we highly recommend it.
