Boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, and umbrellas, are all available in the cabana next to the bungalow. Go snorkeling with the sea turtles right off the beach. Do a little Whale Watching from the front yard….migrating season is late December through March, or just enjoy a good book while swinging in the hammock. Sunsets you ask.....absolutely!

Makaha Beach is truly the hidden jewel of Oahu. You are only 35 miles northwest of Honolulu airport away from all of the crowds. Makaha Beach is famous for surfing dating back to the '50s but there is also great snorkeling and just plain lying on the beach in the sun.

If you are looking for a great location with a beautiful secluded beach this place is for you. Our Oceanside Bungalow shares the front yard, (which overlooks the ocean) along with the beach equipment found in the cabana with our Mountainside Bungalow. If you like to play golf, Makaha Valley Resort has 1 golf course with spectacular views.

Barbecue on the front lawn and eat under the 100+-year-old Hau tree, the perfect place to enjoy those beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. There is a grill outside your bungalow and you will find charcoal and lighter fluid in the cabana.

This is really "local" Hawaii. The Makaha Country Club for golf and they now have the restaurant open. Great deep-sea fishing out of the Waianae Harbor and the freshest Ahi Tuna on the island can be found at our local grocery store. Find lots of farming nearby which means lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. The farmers market is open on Saturday mornings. There are no bars or restaurants in our immediate neighborhood which makes this the perfect spot for a zero-proof vacation. There are restaurants within 3 miles, Coquitos Latin Cuisine and Kahumana Organic Farm and Cafe. The Beach House by 406 is a nice restaurant and has a nice bar. In Ko'Olina, (20 minutes) Roys, Monkey Pod, Island Vintage Coffee, and more. In Kapolei, (30 minutes) Chilis, Cheesecake Factory, and many more restaurants.

You will have a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time here at The Bungalows. We have two bungalows on our property, we trust that you will respect your fellow guests. The entire property is for everyone to enjoy.
