Great rental for the price in a great location!!
We were in town for a wedding the week of our stay. It was the perfect place for us! It was cozy and clean. It gave us an at-home feel and was the perfect place for us to return to after busy days on the island. I couldn't be happier about it! It was in close proximity to everything we were doing. It was also a convenient location to a lot of things that one might need. The Napili Market was a constant stop for us and so was Joey's Kitchen. While my wife was attending to wedding things, I was able to make a quick drive (10 mins) to a couple golf courses to really maximize my stay in Maui. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your place!
Quiet area short walk from Napili beach
Older home, but decorated very nicely.
Small hot water heater. Couldn’t get past 5-6 minutes with water staying hot.
But we still had a great time.

Near great beaches, functional kitchen. A long way from airport and most tourist sights. Has parking place. Worked well for us.
This place worked out great for our trip! The home is very comfortable, and the central AC works great and was very quiet so it didn’t bother us at night. The bed was great, and had super comfortable pillows and linens. Everything was super clean and the coffee, dish soap, and towels were very useful to have on arrival. There were also some beach chairs and an umbrella which came in super handy while visiting the multiple beaches within a 5-15 minute walk.
Getting to the Bamboo Bungalow was a breeze, the GPS brought us straight to the location without any mishaps. The road up to the Bungalow is a little bumpy but don't worry because the end is worth it. This Bungalow is perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle but within a good distance from the beach, activities, and stores. The neighborhood is quiet and really made our stay that much more relaxing.
When we arrived we went to the office because we were a little lost. We met with the Property Site Manager who greeted us. He let us know where our parking and building were located. It was very nice to have such a great and helpful Site Manager. We were excited to be so close to the beach but we also enjoyed the pool. It was small but perfect for a quick dip to cool down. If you want to go to the beach it is a 10-minute walk to the beach down the road.
We both loved how well the bungalow is decorated. It has a very cozy tropical beach feel. It made us feel right at home. We loved that the kitchen was stocked with spices, dishes, and tools to use to cook a nice home meal if we wanted to. The fridge was huge and had a lot of space for food if needed. There is counter space that you could eat on with stools or a big table with chairs. The living room was equipped with an extra-large TV, board games, books, cable, and streaming services. The couch was very comfortable and could pull out into a bed if you wanted. The star of the living room furniture was the lounge chair. It was so comfy that my husband did not want to leave it. The room was wonderful with a huge comfortable bed and a small TV. This TV also came with streaming services. The closet in the room had beach equipment ready to use. We even had a ton of extra towels to use if we needed to. We loved waking up and opening up the curtains in the living room that lead to the small patio. There was a nice breeze and beautiful landscaping to enjoy while eating breakfast out on the lanai.
We really loved our stay because we really got to get away and enjoy each other's company in a beautiful place. We felt rejuvenated and refreshed at the end of our stay. Mahalo for providing such a wonderful place to recharge.
We had roaches, there was a funky smell, and it obviously hadn't been deep cleaned in a while.
The property itself was not really like a resort as such.
There were some good things like, chairs and a good amount of kitchen amenities but it really comes down to price. If this was in the lower end, it's a fair price and decent enough place, I'd review it much higher. At like 300 CAD/night, not even close to being acceptable.
The property management crew tried to get us somewhere else, but there weren't decent places available short notice. They got the place sprayed as well, which was appreciated.
I guess overall it was not very good and way too expensive for what it was.
Soon as we got there we saw the person who said he was the owner. He was standing in the parking lot and telling my wife how to park! That experience made an impact and upset her.
The inside of the unit is really clean and has been well upgraded. The A/C works well for the bedroom. Check in was easy. When we pulled in we were a little worried because the complex is really old and we worried maybe the unit would be run-down, but once inside, it was fine. Note the best beach for kids is really Kapalua Bay - so I would still plan to drive there if you have young children - as the walk is a little long for toddlers - and there isn't a side walk the entire path to the beach.
