The service of the staff was amazing. The actual condo unit was very run down and in need of serious upgrades.

Great location, close to beach and restaurants. Cleanliness of bathroom could have been improved. Pans in kitchen could be updated. Great ocean view. Master bedroom could use small table and chairs near window. Patio furniture and fold out couch not very comfortable could be updated.

Location is very good, short walking distance to the beach. Our room was right next to the noisy elevator, so that wasn’t so good as it sometimes woke us up. Floors were quite dirty, but it is Hawaii. We had to wear slippers to prevent feet from getting dirty. Overall, it was pleasant and as expected for a 3-star hotel.

even though not the ideal time for holidays (my husband was at Queens Medical until he passed away 19 days later) holidays made easier by comfortable bed, kitchen, fantastic sea views, laundry room down the hall, close to restaurants, cafes, buses etc
communication with Maui staff was great and I was refunded the nights I had not used. would highly recommend Waikiki Banyan

Great location. Walking distance to the beach , restaurants and lots of stores. Also really close to the zoo. Though I am not giving it 5 stars because we found bugs in the kitchen. They did say they would fumigate so I hope the next person that books there does not have to deal with that issue. They do give you a shell lei at check in and that’s cute.

We were initially placed in a condo that was downright depressing. Multiple things (cabinets, drawers) were broken in the kitchen. Awful wall to wall carpet in the living room and bedroom and a pull out couch with terribly stained cushion. We were also charged a resort fee and parking fee - so read the fine print. There are no beach supplies included. The Waikiki Banyan staff were very helpful and accommodating in helping us move units the next morning so i have no complaints with them but contacting the rental agency was frustrating. We left multiple messages most of which were not returned. It may be better to rent directly from an owner so you know what you are getting.
