The unit was ok. A little worn. Very clean. Dishwasher and door under sink needs a fix. NO AIR CONDITIONING. In the morning it’s humid. Ok for sleeping temperature. If you want to sleep late this is not the place. No AC means windows opens. chickens/roosters crowing at dawn!!! Pool shown in picture is not the pool for this unit. The pool for this unit is much nicer. Views are beautiful!

Overall it was clean. Kitchen was supplied with dishes and pot & pans. Kitchen was functional but cabinets outdated. Pool was close and cleaned daily. Yard and trees are nice and lots of friendly birds in the yard.
A family of our stayed here and it suited our needs well. Beds were comfortable, space was great. As other reviews stated, the pool in the picture is not the one for this condo, but the pool we used is bigger and more family friendly- not a big deal for us at all. We enjoyed the privacy of being the end unit. The rental does have a few beach chairs and umbrella but they are very tired with broken straps. We did not have internet while we were there and none of the batteries in the remote controls worked. Wifi would have been nice since our phone service was spotty, but we were warned about this ahead of time. Rental unit feels a little tired, but is well-kept and very clean. Would be open to staying here again.
I booked a suite for four people and expected to be charged accordingly. However, I was surprised to see additional charges on my bill, including fees for the number of guests—which was already disclosed at the time of booking—as well as a resort fee, resort tax, and extra room charges. The total amount charged was significantly higher than I anticipated and quite unexpected.
The condo is generally clean and comfortable and has a lovely view of the ocean. The pool and spa are also nice and very well maintained. The only issues were- #1 guest shower had issues with water temperature - had to crank up the cold and barely use hot water to get to a good temperature. #2 dishwasher is clearly on its las legs and wouldn't close on the last day. #3 Sliding doors wouldn't close without lifting it off the track first.
Everything was great and well communicated! Close to many great shops and food!
We loved this condo. The entire grounds were breathtaking. We got both mountain views and ocean views while relaxing on our balcony.This was a great north island location for our home base.
As other reviews stated, this unit is quite dated and while we did have everything we needed, it did feel quite old. The pool pictured in the photos is directly beneath the unit but you will not have access to it. The pool for this unit is not far but it’s not right below, which is puzzling! We appreciated the hospitality, ease of booking and did enjoy the views.

The rental was beautiful with a view of the ocean, a great pool, hottub and bbq's 2 minutes away. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for cooking. Was a great experience for two couples. Would highly recommend a car as not much is within walking distance but a peaceful, beautiful location to relax and cute towns/amazing beaches within a short drive.
After arriving our electronic door lock failed, unable to get into our rental at 01:00 am, property manager called and quickly arrived to use the key. Battery replaced the next morning. Then the sink over the garborator filled up when the dishwasher was used, needed to bail dirty water into the next sink or a flood would have occurred. Rental company sent a plumber quickly to fix this issue. Overall, site location wonderful, grounds immaculate, our stay was good overall Even with those two issues.
We had a great stay in lovely Princeville. Communication with host was great, they provided beach equipment and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed!

Condo was fine. Great location. The kitchen could really use some cooking basics like spices, oil, coffee filters.
Upon our arrival, I was somewhat disappointed that first evening that the condo appeared a bit tired and shabby. By the next afternoon, my attitude adjusted and I realized that it was adequate in the ways that mattered. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the appliances in the kitchen worked well. It was clean, quiet and in a nice location. But it could definitely use some new paint, a carpentry refresh and a bit of modernizing in the kitchen. The attentiveness of staff before and during our visit was excellent. We’d stayed at this complex 3 yrs prior with friends, thus our decision to return to the area.

On the plus side, the space was decent in a nice area close to Princeville. The kitchen was fairly well appointed with medium quality dishes. They really should repair the wall behind the microwave though.
They should make it clear the pool you see in the pictures is not the one you are allowed to use. The one you are able to use is actually better but we wasted time not knowing we were trying to get into the wrong area.
Our TV failed before a big game and we spent al lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. Turns out it was Roku but we were without entertainment for most of the trip. No stereo, or ability to use DVD. Kauai is very quiet after dark.

The property was okay. I wouldn't rebook it though. The bathrooms needed a complete remodel. The tub was gross, and the cabinets were in need of an update. You had a HUGE HOLE in the wall in the kitchen. Perfect for insects, or rodents to come through. I never cooked in that kitchen.
We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. This place was great for hanging out, the breeze, the views, & it is in a fantastic area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our location and our view... Being over the pool had his pros and cons though in the later evenings... For the price we paid, we thought the kitchen could use a tiny upgrade for sure, but other than that we were very happy. We were easy guests doing our own laundry and treating the property like our own home... we donated three brand new boogie boards to the closet for the next many guests to use and we hope the owners can enjoy them as well. We would definitely stay again. Mahalo!
We stayed in a nice 2-bedroom unit with a view of the ocean. The only issue we had was that the cable was connected to a light switch, but the property management folks helped us fix that. Overall, it was a good stay.

We spent a good portion of the week talking to the management company about spotty wifi, TV not working, garbage disposal back-up, (only used it once) and several other more minor issues that could have been avoided with better, more detailed move-in instructions. Managers were friendly, but most answers were "try this", or "we will call maintenance", or "we are very sorry". We did not see a manager or maintenance person all week. My impression is that the owner does not want to spend any money so furnishings are sparce, appliances need up-dating (the side of the refrigerator and freezer racks appeared to be rusty), and the microwave above the stove does not work -so we used a smaller one located on the counter. The good news is that the place was clean and in a good Princeville location. Being situated next to and above the pool we were able to hear most of the pool conversations as well as the moans and heavy breathing from the unit below. We vacated our two week reservation after the first week and moved to a more suitable and comfortable location. No refund was offered.

This lovely two bedroom condo will not only give you lush gardens and ocean views, you have everything you need to have a fabulous time in Princeville. We had smoothies every morning with the provided blinder. All your cooking needs are available. The kitchen cupboards are looking a little tired but other than that it was perfect. The hot tub wasn’t working which was a real bummer as that was one of our ‘must haves’ when traveling but the pool was equally as good. The location took us a bit to find but once you go in and out a few times you’ll find your way....lots of turns. The walking paths are fantastic and so is the peace and quiet. Overall, we are thrilled with this condo.
First off hot tub heater broken and pool heater broke . Pool freezing cold . To cold to swim in condo tv local cable / tv channels not working 5 Remotes in home but none worked ( no response ) also tv and wifi modem on a lite switch (had to figure out on our own ( no response ) also after 5 days shower broke and was not fixed . Management company contacted us regular to ask if we had any issues. Butt when we reported issues no response or very delayed response and no fixes of any isues reported and no explination on why or just we will let maintenance know of isues and no further comunication

Overall we were fairly satisfied with this condo unit. Nice view, comfy beds and well equipped with cookware, utensils, etc. The unit could use some updates - cabinets, paint, etc, but certainly workable. Fully equipped with beach equipment - chairs, umbrella, towels, snorkels/masks, etc.We are definitely in agreement with the previous reviews raising the issue of hot water availability in this unit. There is literally none in the master bath and with some luck you can get a few minutes of "lukewarm" out of the "guest" shower if you keep playing with the control - and hot water out of the taps is always an iffy proposition. I fully realize there can be issues with an "on-demand" hot water system and "plumbers are very hard to get to come" but I feel that for the cost of the unit it should be a courtesy to inform renters of this issue before they come. This "amenity" was very important to my wife and her sister (with much curly hair) and I heard about it daily!Also - make sure you clean up any food off the counters and out of the sink and hang the kitchen washcloth over the faucet (they love water) if you use it or you will have a bunch of tiny ants. I started leaving the under-cabinet light on thru the night and it seemed to keep them at bay.

I did not like the showers you could not regulate the water it was either too hot or cold. You thought you had it right & all of the sudden it too hot. It really needs to be fixed to Be able to give a better rating.
